Takeya Mizugaki Discusses His Opponent Switch at UFC 173

MMAjunkie Radio recently interviewed UFC bantamweight fighter Takeya Mizugaki ahead of his upcoming bout with Francisco Rivera at UFC 173. Below are some highlights.

Mizugaki on his opponent switch from TJ Dillashaw to Rivera: "I was disappointed that I couldn't fight Dillashaw for a couple days. But by the next week when I heard I was fighting Rivera, I was very highly motivated. It just took me a while to readjust."

Mizugaki on how he matches up against Rivera: "We match very well in fighting style. I am excited and have very good motivation for this fight."

Mizugaki on adjusting to fighting under ZUFFA: "I've been fighting under the ZUFFA banner for a long time, dating back to the WEC days. I'm very used to adjusting to this kind of environment."
