Dana White Thinks The Ultimate Fighter 19 Is Responsible For NSAC's Changes
Posted by Joseph Lee on 05.22.2014

MMA Junkie reports that Dana White has blamed a fight that took place on last night's episode of The Ultimate Fighter 19 for recent changes with the Nevada State Athletic Commission. The episode featured Roger Zapata defeat Ian Stephens in the opening round, even though he got a point deduction in the tiebreaker round. The commission decided to pick a winner when the fight ended in a majority draw.

White said on UFC Tonight: "I think this was the explosion of what's going on and has been going on here in Nevada for a few years now. I think this was the moment where the right people recognized what was going on and that some changes needed to be made."

The change saw NSAC executive director Keith Kizer step down in January. He was replaced by former FBI agent and boxing judge Robert Bennett.
