Sobotta returns to the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 41…
UFC fighter Peter Sobotta recently talked about his upcoming fight with Pawel Pawlak coming up this weekend at UFC Fight 41. Below are some highlights:
Sobotta on what he did after he was released the first time: "After I lost a contract with the UFC, I became a professional fighter. Since then, it's all I've done. I had nothing else to do, and I think I developed as a fighter and a personality."
Sobotta on being back in the UFC: "Being back in the UFC is a dream coming true. I'm here to stay."
Sobotta on his fighting style: "My style was always grappling. I started with judo, so I feel really comfortable when I grab my opponent. I have good attacks to take the back, and no one could defend it, so I was able to pull out five wins. I think I might do it again on Saturday."
Sobotta on what he's had to face: "I'm coming from a really hard time, but I think that will give me more power for the fight. I faced death, and I don't think any opponent is tougher than what I faced in Brazil."
