Jon Jones Responds To Claims He's A Coward

MMA Junkie reports that Jon Jones (20-1 MMA, 14-1 UFC) posted a fifteen second video on Instagram, which he later deleted, commenting on claims that he was ducking Alexander Gustafsson (16-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC). It was recently revealed that the light heavyweight champion wanted a fight with Daniel Cormier (15-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC).

Jones previously defeated Gustafsson by unanimous decision but it was one of his toughest fights so far. The UFC is planning a rematch for UFC 177 in August and Gustafsson has agreed to it. However, Jones has yet to sign on for the fight.

He said in the video: "Asking for an undefeated Olympic wrestler (and) Strikeforce champion makes me somehow a coward? How 'bout the fact that I beat Gustafsson already, whether you guys like how close it was or not? It's my career, not yours."
