Robert Drysdale To Debut At The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale
Posted by Joseph Lee on 06.05.2014

MMA Fighting reports that Robert Drysdale (6-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will make his UFC debut at The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 6. He will fight Keith Berish (5-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC).

Drysdale is undefeated with all six of his wins being first-round submissions. He was originally set to debut on August 3, 2013 at UFC 163 against Ednaldo Oliveira but suffered a staph infection. He was then supposed to fight Cody Donovan at UFC 167 but tested positive for elevated testosterone (19.4-to-1 testosterone-to-epitestosterone level) in a out-of-competition test requested by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).

This will also be the debut of Berish, who is also undefeated. Berish last fought in January with a first round submission win over Ariel Sepulveda. He will move up from middleweight to light heavyweight to fight Drysdale. The show will feature a main event of Frankie Edgar vs BJ Penn. IT happens at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.
