Jorgensen picked up a win last night…
Following his win at UFC Fight Night 42, UFC flyweight fighter Scott Jorgensen talked with reporters in a media scrum about his fight with Danny Martinez. Jorgensen snapped a three-fight losing streak with the win. In addition, he took home a $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus with the win. Below are some highlights:
Scott Jorgensen on his goal to win a UFC title: "I have one goal in my life, and that's to win a UFC title. That's all that kept going through my head."
Jorgensen on if he felt his job was on the line last night: "Everyone talks about that. Every time we step in that cage, your job's in the balance, whether it be through injury, a loss, saying something stupid in the cage. Every time I step in the cage, I feel like my job is on the line. The end goal is that UFC title, and the only way to get to it is win by win. That was the only thing going into that fight (Saturday): Pick up my win."
