He's not buying it...
In an interview with MMA Junkie, Andrei Arlovski (21-10 MMA, 10-4 UFC) said that he doesn't believe claims that his UFC 174 opponent Brendan Schaub has a glass jaw. The two will meet on the PPV main card from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
On Schaub's glass jaw: "I think it's all BS. People say I had a glass jaw or weak chin, too, and when I fought Anthony ‘Rumble' Johnson, the referee fell asleep, and I had the broken jaw in the first round because the referee made a mistake. I fought the second and third rounds with a broken jaw in two places, and he didn't finish me. I think it's all bull—t. The heavyweight division, if you land a good, good punch in the right place, everybody is going to fall."
On being excited to be back in the UFC: "When I left the UFC, I made a business decision to leave the UFC. I had some fighting experience and some life experience, so I'm very happy where I'm at right now."
On his opponent: "I'm very excited. He's tough. He's top-14, 15. I'm not even top-20 or 25, so it's a very important fight for me. I need to prove I'm one of the best fighters in the world. I have to beat the people that are in front of me."
