Charlie Brennemanís Manager Says His Client Will Get Another Shot in the Octagon
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 06.24.2014

MMAjunkie reports that veteran fighter Charlie Brenneman will receive another fight in the Octagon, despite losing his last four fights in the Octagon, all by way of stoppage. Brenneman's manager, Mike Constantino, said the UFC will give Brenneman another chance, and his client will likely fight again in the fall.

Constantino stated, "Charlie's going to get another chance. Charlie will be back and will get another chance. We're looking at the fall for him."

Brenneman in his initial UFC run went 4-4 before he was released from the promotion. After that, he moved down to lightweight and won four fights in a row in order to earn his way back into the Octagon. Since that time, he was submitted by Beneil Dariush in the first round at UFC Fight Night 35. After that, he was knocked out by Danny Castillo in the second round at UFC 172.
