Stefan Struve and Matt Mitrione Receive Pay Despite UFC 175 Scratch
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 07.06.2014

Stefan Struve and Matt Mitrione were unable to compete against each other at UFC 175 after Struve had a near-fainting spell at the show, but they will both receive their pay regardless. Dana White revealed at the post-show presser that both fighters will receive their show money and win bonuses.

Struve had an elevated heart rate and nearly passed out; even though his condition went back to acceptable levels, the fight was cut as a safety precaution. It would have been Struve's first fight since 2013.

Struve was set to make $40,000 in show money plus $40,000 in win bonus money, while Mitrione was scheduled to make $30,000 to show and $30,000 for a win.
