Legacy FC 34 Is Henry Cejudo's Last Chance To Make 125 Pounds
Posted by Joseph Lee on 07.08.2014

MMA Junkie reports that Legacy FC owner Mick Maynard said that Legacy FC 34 will be Henry Cedudo's (5-0) last chance to get down to 125 pounds for the flyweight division. This will be Cejudo's third attempt to compete in the division. He will fight Brian Hall (6-2) in Tunica, Mississippi on August 29. Hall is coming off a TKO win over Cortez Phelia in his flyweight debut at a Bellator PPV in May, his second fight for that promotion.

Cejudo was going to fight for the vacant title in June but was removed for "personal reasons". He's had two decision wins but hasn't been able to get down to 125. If both fighters can make 125, the winner will fight Damacio Page for the title.

Maynard said: "If Henry doesn't make 125 he needs to go to 135."

Here's the current card:

  • Henry Cejudo vs. Brian Hall
  • Jonathan Brookins vs. Austin Lyons
  • Cosmo Alexandre vs. TBD
  • Taylor Callens vs. Wade Johnson
  • Joel Cooper vs. Grady Hurley
  • Chase Sherman vs. TBD
  • Paul Rainey vs. Jens Grau
  • Ben Parrish vs. TBD
  • Bryce Mitchell vs. TBD
  • Aaron Meadows vs. Eli McGlothlin
