After months of sometimes heated negotiations, unbeaten bantamweight Holly Holm has signed with the UFC. UFC President Dana White Tweeted the news, along with a photo of Holm's signed contract, on Thursday.
Holm, 32, is a world champion pro boxer, accumulating a 33-2-3 record in that sport, and is 7-0 in mixed martial arts. Her most recent boxing bout came in May of 2013, while she most recently competed in MMA in April. In that April match, Holm captured the Legacy FC women's bantamweight championship via fifth round TKO, despite suffering a broken left arm in the opening round.
