Georges St-Pierre Thinks Olympic-Style Drug Testing Is The Next Step For MMA
Posted by Joseph Lee on 07.12.2014

In an interview with AXS TV's Inside MMA at the UFC Fan Expo in Las Vegas, Georges St-Pierre spoke about MMA's drug testing policies and how he thinks it needs to change.

He said: "They need to make more like Olympic drug testing an independent organization that doesn't have any affiliation with the money of the organization."

While the UFC is trying hard to get rid of performance-enhancing drugs, the amount of tests being skipped or failed is increasing. GSP has wanted more tests but wants to make it clear he doesn't think the UFC is doing anything wrong.

He added: "The only thing I wanted to do is help the sport to raise another level, and I think if you want it to grow worldwide to the next step, it's the next step to follow."
