They fight in two months...
Both Daniel Cormier (15-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) and the UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones (20-1 MMA, 14-1 UFC) are continuing to talk trash on social media. The two will fight at UFC 179 on September 27 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Cormier is replacing Alexander Gustafsson due to a knee injury.
Jones posted two videos on Instagram yesterday showing him getting stitches after he suffered a cut above his right eye. Cormier replied: "September 27th I'm gonna put so many of these on ur face @jonnybones. I can't wait everyday I'm dreaming and thinking of you. And I'm gonna take u down and grind my elbow into that cut you got today. Put a bullseye on that thing. Some things should remain private. DC."
Jones decided to post another video on Instagram. He said: "His hands are too fast. His jiu-jitsu's too good. His wrestling's too good. He's too fast. Too experienced. Can't beat his karate. Can't beat his timing. I've literally heard everything. Everything."
