Brad Tavares Hoping For Quick Knockout Of Tim Boetsch
Posted by Joseph Lee on 08.16.2014

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Brad Tavares (12-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) said he's hoping for a quick knockout of Tim Boetsch (17-7 MMA, 8-6 UFC) tonight at UFC Fight Night 47.

He said: "Ideally, we come out there, we touch gloves, I feel him out a little bit, touch him one time with a punch and he goes down, fight over. That would be a good night. Then I come back here. I see they have some burger challenge. I'll try to (win that)."

He said his first cheat meal is burgers, after he's made weight following a training camp. He said he plans to go to Sushi Mon in Las Vegas, an all-you-can-eat restaurant, after the fight. He added: "Whichever one is less busy, that's where you'll see me."

The two will fight on the main card on FOX Sports 1 at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine.
