On his hand issues: "My hand hasn't worked for years. People really don't understand my hand's been f–ked for a whole year. I couldn't close it, and it was broke. I only had one hand. Everything else in my body was good. I just didn't have my right hand."
On his next fight: "I know they want me to fight in November. Hopefully I can get my title eliminator shot with [John] Lineker next and get that out of the way. It makes the most sense."
On Lineker: "He's talking s–t and saying, ‘Come be a real man and fight me in the middle of the cage!' Do I look f–king stupid?. I can beat you other ways pretty easily. I'm not just going to sit there and trade bombs with you. You hit harder than me. (I'll beat him with) the same game plan I had with Brad. It's speed and movement. Lineker hits harder than Brad, and he might throw a few more numbers, but it's nothing that I can't avoid. I just won't let him hit me."
On his future following the surgery: "Being able to have two hands is a lot more encouraging now. It'll be a lot more exciting when I have two hands. I'll just leg kick him and body kick him and head kick him. He just looks for one-shot knockouts. I'm going to kick him and hurt him then finish him. He's f–ked."
