Anthony Birchak's Home Robbed Last Night

UFC bantamweight Anthony Birchak (11-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) revealed on Twitter last night that just after he was cut from UFC 177 due to his fight being canceled, he went home and found out that he had been robbed. Birchak was originally set to fight Joe Soto (15-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC), who was moved into a last minute title fight with T.J. Dillashaw.

He wrote: "Wow so if this weekend couldn't get more fu^%ed up we just got home to find we got robbed!!! When it rains it pours everything's gone!"

A PR represetnative for Birchak told MMA Junkie that the fighter may know who robbed him but wouldn't reveal any details. Birchak's Twitter includes posts about various items stolen, including children's toys, TVs, jewelry, and food. His Maximum Fighting Championship ring (which was given to him to mark his title win in the Canadian promotion). He later vacated the belt and signed with UFC.

He added: "These guys were truly sinister and dastardly they stole my FAN!.My fan! And some Crispin Apple Cider so I know it's some punk kids. I'm seriously not that upset my family is 1000% safe & God clearly had 2open my eyes 2some things this weekend. H is for humble. Understood."
