Anthony Pettis Says Nick Diaz Had His Chance To Start Something
Posted by Joseph Lee on 09.03.2014

As we previously reported, Gilbert Melendez said in an interview that he didn't have much of a problem on the set of The Ultimate Fighter 20 with Anthony Pettis. He added that it was Nate Diaz that offered to beat up Pettis if there was a problem at all. Diaz was one of Melendez's assistant coaches during the season.

Now, MMA Junkie reports that Pettis has responded to the claims that Nate Diaz wanted to fight, and he thinks Diaz is all talk.

He said: "I definitely want to kick his ass. Anybody in my weight class, I want to kick that ass. But man, he had his chance. I was on the show with him for seven weeks. I seen him everyday, and he didn't say anything. So once the show is over, he wants to talk afterward? It doesn't matter. He had seven weeks to say something. He didn't say anything, so that's what it is."
