UFC comments on UFC 72's PPV status
Posted by Caleb Newby on 05.09.2007

With the speculation running that UFC 72 could make its way to HBO now that it has been confirmed it will not be aired on Spike TV, the UFC put to rest that rumor as well. An official with the UFC told 411mania matter-of-factly that UFC 72 "will be on Pay Per View".

In theory this would end the current crop of UFC 72 being on HBO rumors, but that isn't likely until the event is upon us. Either way, we now have the official line straight from the UFC.
