[VIDEO] Randy Couture Talks About His Career and Responds to Dana White's Comments

"His tune would have been much different had he signed Fedor."
At the IFL 2007 Grand Prix championships, the 411Mania team caught up with UFC champion Randy "The Natural" Couture. Randy made a surprise visit to the east coast to corner some of his competing fighters, forsaking the UFC event taking place on the very same night.
Couture was gracious enough to grant us an exclusive video interview, in which he responded to recent comments from Dana White, where the UFC president stated that world champion Fedor Emelianenko was not a top 5 fighter. "I think everyone expects comments like that from Dana." said Couture. "I think his tune would have been much different had he signed Fedor." Randy also talked about the future of his fighting and acting career, the ability of Antonio Rodrigo Noguiera and much much more! Check out the video below to hear what the MMA legend had to say!

Heck of a job indeed

I believe Randy is correct about the UFC mistreating him. They gave Rampage the 205 pound Pride Champ, now Silva is fighting for the Pride title, why can't they do the same for Randy? Even if it means a co-promotion, the UFC owes it to not only the fans, but to Couture as well. After all, the sport isn't supposed to be about Dana's paychecks, it's about the fans and the fighters getting what they want. Good job on the video!

I'm pretty jealous that you got to meet Couture and interview him. Great job buddy.

Don't publish something with such amatueristic production values. It places someone like Couture in less of a light then he should be. In America the presence of a star is an integral part of his appeal and this video with its terrible sound and bouncing camera are unwatchable to me. If i want home movies i'll call up the local college in Vegas and ask some students to hound couture with their cellphone cameras. The questions were intelligent but we want to move away from such amateur behaviour. I understand the spontaneous nature of the interview, the time limit but still...

We need to see Couture and Fedor now.

What the heck is Eikier's problem? I thought the piece was good.

I honestly think that fedor will get crushed by couture. Couture is too smart to get locked into a stupid submission, and he will have a clear advantage on his feet

its not fair for pride fighters to be thrown in with the best straight away and vice verse the rules and round times have such a affect on a fighters fight so its a major advantage for ufc fighters courture wud prob beat fedor only on the time limit with 5 min rounds these guys have trained for years for 5 min rounds so it wud take a few fights for pride fighters to adjust as wud ufc fighters in pride wanderlei was such a clown to jump straight in with chuck he should have had a few warm up fights to me wander was the winner cause he did so well againist chuck on ufc rules and in chucks backyard even do chuck did win
