Sorry i bet Fedor is heading to Dream FC
Either way Fedor knows Couture had signed a contract with HDNet Fights maybe he's going to sign with them !

WTF, think about the only organization that is too greedy to copromote with others. It's only UFC..... So if he was going to Dream FC, he didnt even need to leave M-1. He's still signed with M-1 and he still was on the cover of the Dream FC video. He's leaving M-1 so he can let the Randy fight happen and let the UFc get their money pinching hands on him.

The UFC "Ultimate Fuck Couture" move!!! I hope Dana White signs him and then puts Couture back on his leash! The fans will finally get to see Randy turn into the sack of potatoes he is.

Is it me or does anybody else realize that the contract that Couture signed with HDnet will be negated as soon Randy and his so called new dumb ass boss go to court.

any fan angry at randy for his stance is completely asinine...the ufc ain't the wwf, this ain't like diesel jumping ship for billionaire ted...this is a sport, and the best should be able to fight the best regardless of what promoter they are signed with...look at boxing, a bunch of different promoters, promoting a bunch of different fighters, all fighting each other...the ufc could still have their show and their champs and still make a mint without exclusive contracts...i just hope that they don't make fedor beat up big nog again, that would be sad.

Anybody who would mention the UFC, WWF, and the word Sport in the is totally assinine. Romano, not only are you a Dennis Miller Wannabe, you r live in fantasy land. Let me guess, I bet you have never lost a fight in your life, you can probably kick anybodys ass?
By the way I would pay top dollar to se "little nog" get knocked the fuck out by "Mr. Red Devil" himself!

UFC, M-1 and all the rest are not promoters in that sense. They are fight organizations who promote their fights. Get it right

Romano what do you mean his stance? He signed a contract then before it was up decided that he wanted more money so he breched his contract. Look how has doing that gotin him any closer to fighting the best? I think it's been proved that Randy was and is not being truthful that is what I don't like about it.

I would imagine Dana doing anything needed - even signing Fedor's entire team if needed, to get Fedor under contract this time. It would paint himself and the UFC in far too good of a "we do what ever we can to get the best" light... and royally, royally screw over Randy in the process.
At the very least, this news should make the next week very interesting.

@Rogaine how is UFC not a sport? I can see arguments for NASCAR/Horse Racing/Bowling/Golf/Pool not be sports but UFC not a sport? Idiot.
Hope Dana can pull this together. Randy will show the world that Fedor really isnt that great.

While I agree with Romano that we shouldn't be angry at Randy, his reasoning is faulty. There is nothing wrong with an employee leaving for a better job, that is how workers are expected to get thier fair share, especially if they don't have a union and can't bargain collectivly. Sport has nothing to do with it.
Top, how has it been proven that Randy was not being truthful. He wanted to fight Fedor, UFC didn't sign him, so he left. Randy is at the end of his carrer, so why shouldn't he make the best of what time he got left. Did you forget that Randy resigned, the very same day Fedor signed with M-1. Dosen't sound at all dishonest.

Fedor won’t sign with the UFC. The UFC won’t offer him what he thinks he is worth and Fedor and his team won’t want to have to submit to drug testing before each fight. He’ll probably end up somewhere else overseas fighting cans.

Unfortunately, aside from the rest of the world, Fedor's ppv buys havn't been strong in the states, & if he's looking for exposure in the states, at this point in time, ufc is the way to go. On another note: How messed up would it be if ufc did sign fedor & then, just to be spiteful, denied randy the fight? Sure they would lose an opportunity to make a ton of money, but it would kill randy, & set an example to anyone else (maybe someone like silva) who was thinking of trying to do what randy did. On the other hand, with the cbs contract, if they both fought for exc on cbs, it would do a lot for the sport - unfortunately no ppv buys so it won't happen.

Champ,
What I ment to say and left out of my sentence was "Anybody who would mention the UFC, WWF, and the word Sport in the same sentence is totally assinine". Meaning that UFC is a sport and WWF is not.
Sorry for the Mistake. Romanos was saying that like the UFC, WWF is a sport and I disagree totally. The WWF is full of "Roid Rage" morons who could not hold a jock strap to anyone in the UFC! I don't know why anyone watches that WWF crap.
Posted By: Rogaine (Guest) on March 07, 2008 at 09:45 PM
I wouldn't get too excited yet. Remember why Fedor didn't sign with the UFC in the first place, because he and Dana couldn't agree to contract terms. If neither of them are willing to bend we could end up right where we started. Maybe Fedor should just wait for the outcome of the Cuban lawsuit before rushing to sign with the UFC.

You should learn to read. Romano was saying that, unlike the WWF/E, the UFC IS a sport in which the best should fight the best regardless of who signs their pay checks.
