Who took home the vacant ICON Middleweight Championship?

Kala Kolohe Hose became the new ICON Middleweight Champion with a 5th round TKO victory over Phil Baroni in an exciting, action-packed fight.

Baroni controlled in the first round with multiple crisp takedowns followed by solid shots. Several times even standing over and landing knees and stomps to the head (legal in Hawaii) of a quickly battered Hose. After the first round the tides turned as Baroni looked to be completely gassed. Hose then controlled the standup and between Baroni takedown attempts he landed several stomps and kicks of his own to Baroni's head.

Baroni went on more rounds, completely gassed, and gave it a strong effort outside of being warned twice and getting a point taken away for fleeing the ring. Finally the fifth round was too much as Baroni caught a shot and fell to the canvas where the referee had finally seen enough.

In undercard action, former pro boxer Jeremy Williams improved his MMA record to 5-0 with a first round knockout of Auggie Padeken. And local favorite Tyson Nam suffered his second loss when the ref saved him after a barrage of punches in the first round.
