Three Matchups Announced for Dream Grand Prix!

Another Dream event, another Grand Prix, who's fighting whom?

Fight Entertainment Group has confirmed three middleweight bouts for its middleweight Grand Prix set for April 29th. Kazushi Sakuraba will take on Andrews Nakahara, Kiyoshi Tamura will take on Masakatsu Funaki and Denis Kang will fight Gegard Mousasi.

Having Sakuraba still competing is becoming potentially bigger news than perhaps the match-up itself. He won his last fight against Masakatsu Funaki at the K-1 Dynamite show back in December. His opponent Nakahara will be making his MMA debut.

In a battle between two MMA legends, Tamura will be coming into his bout against Fuanki coming off a win over Hideo Tokoro on that K-1 Dynamite card. For Funaki, the Sakuraba loss was his first bout in seven years.

Denis Kang is coming off a knockout loss to Yoshihiro Akiyama at a K-1 card in October. Kang is 29-9-1 in MMA and the top 10 middleweight will take on Mousasi who is on a seven fight win streak. He's coming off a KO win over Steve Mensing at a M-1 event in March.
