Tim Sylvia Comments On UFC Departure

And look at who he challenges......
Tim Sylvia appearead on "Inside MMA" on HDnet last night and made the following comments:
On his decision to leave the UFC:
"I've pretty much come to a crossroads in my career, and there's a lot of big things happening in the MMA world, and especially outside of the UFC."
On signing with Adrenaline MMA:
"Adrenaline is a new promotion, but it allows fighters to fight for other organizations -- that's huge. I've got three to four years left and want to fight as much as possible, so this is the perfect choice for me at this time."
On where and who he would like to fight next:
"Japan's starting to get some big shows going again, and Affliction show is going to be happening, so I'm looking to fight in all of them. Be real active, fight five or six times a year. And there's a guy out there named Fedor [Emelianenko], who I'd like to fight. And I think the only way that's going to happen is by me leaving the UFC."
Tim Silvia's next fight needs to be with the guy who cuts his hair.

I'd love to see Dana pull out all the stops to sign Fedor, just to throw it in Silvia's face... The thinks because he's so tall he's hot stuff, but he fights like King Hippo in Punch-Out, opening his mouth every time he throws a punch... 4 fighters I'd love to never see again: Ortiz, Silvia, Koschek, & Ken Shamrock...

Sylvia is going to be in for a huge surprise when he starts fighting guys who have a ground game. Tim never had a great ground game and lost his killer instinct. It was actually smart for him to leave the UFC at this point. He won’t ever beat Big Nog, and most of the guys next in line have decent ground games (Werdum, Lesnar, Mir).

Tim is one of the best of all time. Boring? I never thought so. He DOES have a ground game, he's great on his feat, he's tough as nails and there is no quit in the guy. Good for Time. I'll be looking for to watching fight no matter where! Go Tim!
