JZ Calvancante out the Rest of 2008 with a Torn ACL

Bad news for JZ......
Gesias "JZ" Calvancante recently appeared on the Savage Dog Radio Show on Sherdog where he confirmed that he is suffering from a torn ACL. JZ said the knee was scoped before his fight last week against Shinya Aoki at DREAM 2, however after the fight he was examined again and was diagnosed with a completely torn ACL. He will go in for surgery on May 16th, which will be followed by 4 months of rehab. He is expected to miss the rest of the year.
