Update On UFC Fight Night 14
Posted by Dustin James on 05.14.2008

Spike TV and the UFC are currently in the process of finalizing details for UFC Fight Night 14. Right now the plan is to air the show before the debut episode of The Ultimate Fighter Season 8, which airs in September. No location has been set, but there are rumors that the card could take place in Florida.

Just PLEASE whatever you do, don't make the main event or card until at least a month before the show. Learn from your cards' many mistakes and don't piss off any fans via non deliverance due to multiple injuries!!! Just don't do it again!!!

Well, often they do have to -make- the main event and many other matches well before a month as many fighters like the extra prep and training time.

however, I do understand what your saying and -maybe- it might be better to suggest that they don't -announce- the main event until a month away.

Thought i doubt either of those will happen, as promoters typically like to announce what people are paying to see in person.

I can certainly understand the frustration with all the injury replacements and everything. But in UFC's defense, they at least are trying ot make up for it by adding matchups and what not. this past weekend TNA Wrestling waited till people ordered the show to tell them there was a change to the main event. I understand wrestling is a work, but which would you rather have in your PPV buys? them baiting and switching on you, or trying to make up for it before the card happens?
