Nothing To Kimbo vs. Tyson Rumors

What about Kimbo vs. Ortiz?
Gary Shaw shot down rumors of a Kimbo Slice vs. Mike Tyson fight today, saying he hasn't talked with anyone on Tyson's side. He also said that he isn't interested in a Kimbo vs. Butterbean fight but is interested in Kimbo vs. Tito Ortiz.
Kimbo Vs Tyson is money, money, money. But also very bad for MMA's image.

Would Tito go up in weight to fight Kimbo, though? He's fought at 205 forever...

Assuming the UFC is done with Tito (we all know Dana is praying Tito doesn't win in a quick and definitive manner next week), he'll still be a big name, can do wonders to hype up a match, and would be an incredible gate-keeper to the top... a perfect test for Kimbo- barring the weight issue.
I'd be surprised if Tito put on the extra pounds, and they're no chance of Kimbo dropping.
Would be an interesting match-up though... and would prove quickly if Slice is for real or not.

Tito walks around 15-20 pounds heavier than 205, he could easily fight at heavyweight.

Yeah, but that's extra weight that would slow him down and not add to his power.

I said months ago they should do Kimbo vs Butterbean! It's the ultimate freakshow fight! They'd make huge bank on it, and it would hurt real mma one bit. People bitching saying that freakshows hurt mma have obviously not been paying attention to the Japanese mma they always say is so fantatsic b/c they have been doing it for ever. I guess Celebrity Boxing killed boxing when they put the gloves on Vanilla Ice too, eh?
