Chuck Liddell Speaks On His Return From Injury, Shogun Rua, More

The Iceman speaks again........
Chuck Liddell sat down with TAGG Radio recently and spoke on when he is expected to come back from injury, another try at a match-up with Shogun Rua, and more:
On when he is expected to be back:
"I've been doing rehab on it, and it's been going real well. I'm hoping to be back fighting in late summer, early fall. You know, September or November."
On fighting Shogun Rua when he comes back:
"It's a possibility, If he's healthy and I'm healthy, it's a fight that makes sense."
On a possible title shot:
"I've been ready to fight the champion for a long time, (If) I win in the fall, I think I deserve a title shot."
On if he would like to try and avenge his losses to Quinton Jackson & Keith Jardine:
"Of course I would. And if Forrest (Griffin) wins (against Jackson) in July, which is possible, I'd want to fight him first and get the title. To be honest, it makes it a lot easier to get your rematches when you got the title because people want a shot at the title."
WTF about Keith Jardine that not only kicked your ASS !! But forest Griffins too !! He got a one flash knockout by a nobody after the Forest fight and bounced back and beat chuck !
What does he get for his troubles ?

Forest beat Shogun -who wasn't even in the UFC top 10 ( regardless of his talents and wins in Pride ! Keith and CHuck were both UFC guys -CHuck was 1 fight away from getting a rematch with Rampage -Keith beat him !! Hence Keith should have gotten opportunity as coach or at least a fight for the title period !!! End of fucking story !!

i hope forrest beats quinton i have wanted to see chuck and forrest fight each other they are 2 of my top 4 favourite fighters. yes keith got knocked out by a nobody that puts him back behind a few guys you dont see chuck or forrest get beat by nobodys? and do you really think keith would be a good coach for the show?

You answered your own question, I think. Jardine got KTFO'd by a supposed nobody... UFC can't be havin their title contenders getting shown up by undercard guys and curtain jerkers. If Jardine wants a shot at the title, he should have pursued an immediate rematch with Alexander to show it was a fluke. He can't even do that now, as Alexander has been exposed as being one dimensional. So now Jardine got out slugged by a one dimensional fighter. Forest has been pluggin away in the UFC a lot longer than Jardine, with a lot more high profile fights than Jardine has had. Add this to the fact that Forest beat arguably one of the best Light-heavy Weights out there and it is easy to see why he gets the shot.

Everyone knows its just going to end up Rampage and Chuck again. Griffin isnt strong enough to handle Rampage. Fuck, he wasent strong enough to handle Tito, and Rampage would molest Tito. And yes, you can gripe that griffin won the Ortiz match,but he still got pushed around in that fight. I see Rampage putting a end to Chuck again, and if Jardine beats the axe murderer(which he should, someone isnt on the juice anymore) then maybe he will fight Rampage. Also if Franklin comes up to LH like he said he might, then Jardine gets pushed back again,and thats not taking into account that Evans might still be undefeated and how wouldnt you give him a title shot?

Jardine got caught by Houston Alexander - fine - happens to everyone - his next fight i think he proved himself when he BEAT CHUCK LIDDELL !!
He beat Chuck after his out of nowhere lose to Alexander ( whom i might add was just a flash in the pan ! )
Once Jardine stepped up and took the Liddel fight -when everyone had Jardine counted out he took the fight and WON ! Giving Liddell his 2nd straight lose back to back after just losing the title !
He also beat Forest !!
Get a fucking clue ass clowns !!

A) hadn't fough since Pride folded -his last fight was 24 February 2007
B) he was injured and had just married 4 days prior and moved days prior to the fight -Mauricio "Shogun" Rua suffered a ruptured ACL during training, the same injury he suffered in 2007 during training for his bout against Forrest Griffin
so please all that Shogun wasn't even in the UFC ranking ! Why cause f'n YFC has no RANKING system !!!

Jardine BEAT Chuck Liddel - liddel had just lost the title Jardine was next in line !! Whoever won was to either A) Chuck get rematch
B) Jardine get a title shot !
Not Jardien beat chuck - Jardine sits on pine while Chuck figths again beats Silva ( when that fight should not have append as Chuck didn't deserve the fight for losing to Jardine ! Regardless if the fans wanted to se it or not - now Jardine gets Silva after Chuck already beat him !!
Plus Chuck was going to get Shogun -and the winner( had chuck not got injured ) was going to get a fight against the winner of Rampage -Griffin once again leaving Jardine in on the pine !
