Fedor Emelianenko To Fight In October & December

Fedor's schedule is getting full......
During a recent interview on the M-1 Mix Fight web site, Fedor Emelianenko's manager Vadim Finkelstein gave everybody an update on the future of Fedor in 2008:
"Two more fights are planned for Fedor in 2008. The first one in October in the context of the next Affliction show in conjunction with M-1 Global, and the second one at New Year's Eve in Japan."
Possible opponents for the October show include Josh Barnett, Andrei Arlovski, Ben Rothwell, and Pedro Rizzo.
Isn't everything supposed to be finsihed in court come Sept ?

Randy's UFC contract expires in October, but I still dont think that clears him completely to fight, thats for the courts to decide.

Couture could VERY WELL BE the NYE fight this year... and what a NYE fight it would be?!?!
The more I think about it, the more it makes sense. Fedor plows through TIMMAY!, then if the most logical choice is Babyface, Fedor finally gets a shot at Barnett. What a year 2008 would be with taking out Sylvia, Barnett AND COUTURE all within 5 months!

What happens when Tim knocks Fedor into next week? or will Fedor be allowed to hide in the ropes till he gets he head clear like I have seen him do in so many fights. There is a reason the man won't fight in a cage, just ask Cro Crap

One can still pray and hope for a fight with Couture. For the time being, I would love to see Barnett and Fedor go at it.

I hope Emelianenko gets a chane to fight Andrei Arlovski, that by far i have to say would be an epic match. Following your remarks about Emelianenko fighting Coutre, thats a no hitter, Coutre has no chance, not even a split decision. Emelianenko is quote "the best fighter in the universe" and putting someone like Coutre against him is a joke.
