They paid Sylvia almost a million to get trashed in 36 seconds.

And Fedor only wanted 300k to fight, come on Dana White paythis man to come to UFC and fix the HW division!

Wow, Affliction paid that much out to Arlovski and Lindland? Holy shit. They really don't have any common sense if they honestly value those two that much.

That has to be a type right? No way Fedor only got $300,000 compared to Tim's $800,000, who in the hell made that decision?

How in the world did tim get paid more than fador?

Man...they are gonna have to sell a ton of t-shirts to pay those salaries. Dana was probably right about one show and out of business.

I guess that kind of blows the rumored million per fight that Fedor was supposedly asking for, doesn't it?

Posted By: Toddo (Guest)  on July 22, 2008 at 04:47 PM

One has to wonder what kind of signing bonus or extra bonus(es) Fedor got, because there's no way they paid Sylvia 1/2 a million dollars more for him to fight than Fedor. $800,000 for Sylvia is just insane though.

$3.321 million total...yikes!

Best HW on the planet - $300K no bonus
Most boring HW on the planet $700K +$300K bonus = $1Million
Worst HW onthe planet - $800K

Absoulutely insane. Dana was right. This company is doomed.

This cannot be right- there is no way they paid 4 fighters the same as or more than Fedor. Why would he be the only fighter other than A-Nog to not get a win bonus? I'd say that they are trying to keep the large amount of money they paid to Fedor (and ultimately lost) off the books. I don't think anyone buys it for a second.

I like Arlovski so I'm happy he's still pulling a big paycheck.

Dave Meltzer was on Between The Ropes earlier tonight and they were talking about how innacurate these reported salaries are. Meltzer says that Affliction paid Fedor around 1.5 million. There are ways that Affliction gets around printing what they really paid the stars like Fedor and Barnett. Maybe Fedor and Barnett did get $300,000 each for the fight but that isn't their total compensation. They both got a huge signing bonus and/or a percentage of the show's revenue in addition to the $300,000 reported.
