Diego Sanchez vs. Thiago Alves Moved To UFC 90
Posted by Dustin James on 07.22.2008

MMAWeekly.com is reporting that the rumored UFC 89 bout between Diego Sanchez and Thiago Alves has been moved to the UFC 90 card and will now co-main event that show. UFC 90 is currently rumored to be held in Chicago, Illinois at the Allstate Arena on October 25. No other bouts have been announced. UFC 90 will air just one week after UFC 89, a show headlined by Chris Leben vs. Michael Bisping that is rumored to air on Spike TV.

Better bring something bigger than Michael Bisping vs Chris Leben to Chicago. Better be really big.

Must be making it a #1 contender's match.

What happens if Diego can't get the fight to the ground, he couldn't get Luigi Fioravanti down.

Diego’s only chance of winning this fight is to push Alves’s cardio to the limited because I question Alves’s cardio and heart.

Diego wins in the third TKO if he makes it there.
