Fedor Emelianenko vs. Andrei Arlovski Confirmed For October 11

It's going down......
Kevin Iole of Yahoo! Sports has confirmed that Fedor Emelianenko vs. Andrei Arlovski will headline the next Affliction card which will take place on October 11 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Both fighters just competed this past weekend at Affliction's debut PPV entitled "Banned". Fedor was victorious over Tim Sylvia in 36 seconds, while Arlovski defeated Ben Rothwell via TKO in round 3. Affliction is expected to announce the bout next Tuesday.

Bottmom line... Fedor still aint proved shit to me, I think he is a chump. Not saying he cant kick my ass, but this dude has never really been tested by a real fighter.

Tuna is a retard.
Mirko Cro Cop, Matt Lindland, Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira, Kevin Randleman, Heath Herring, Renato Sobral, Mark Coleman.
So Fedor has beaten all of them and some of them twice. What Tuna is saying is that none of those are real fighters. Tuna next time you are thinking about talking just find a door and slam your head in it, I think that might be time better surved.

Wow... I'd love to know what constitutes a "real fighter" to you tuna.
He's already beaten the UFC (interm) champ twice, former champ Sylvia, CroCop (back when that meant something), and so on.
Somehow, destroying Tim doesn't mean anything to you- but a guy who Tim has beaten twice has a chance?!?

Only true MMA fans truly know how good of a fighter Fedor is. I have followed MMA for only about 6 years and I havent really seen any fights of Fedors. From what I hear and clips that I saw, he is a bad ass mother fucker. I think that this is going to be a great fight as long as Arlovski doesnt fight like he did against Sylvia. He cant be timid one bit.

This is a best case scenario for the company and the fans. Fedor has never faced Arlovski, plus Arlovski is better known and more marketable in the US. I see an exciting fight here. Fedor by sub in the second, or Fedor by sub in the third if Andrei brings the furry chest back (the beard and chest hair were the source of his power).

As great as i like Andre ' ! It took him 3 full rounds to put Ben Rothwell away !
He has lost to Tim Sylvia twice ! Once by KO ! and the other to a bore-fest decision loss!
He still hasn't avenged his loss to Rizzo or Rico "fat ass" Rodriguez
Sorry he hasn't fought anybody in the last year to deserve a title shoot with Fedor ! His last to fights were untelevised cause they were so boring !
And i like Andre -he's a great fighter but i won't by bias ! He's a on and off fighter period !

I slammned my head "in" a door and for some retarded reason I still feel that Fedor is a chump.
As far as Tim Sylvia is concerned, dudes a wash up now. We all seen that when Randy Couture "treated" him.
Fedor is a movie of the week, or a
T-Shirt at best.
Arlovski is still a powerhouse.
