Brock Lesnar Promises To Be "Calmer" In Next Fight
Posted by Ashish on 07.25.2008

In an interview with KELOLAND.com, Brock Lesnar promises to be a calmer fighter in his next UFC fight on 8/9.

"I got overexcited, got sloppy in my first fight," Lesnar said. "I think this fight you're going to see a calmer fighter in me, and a much more polished fighter."

I hope by calmer he doesn't mean boring, because the minute and half he lasted in his first UFC fight was one of the most exciting minute and a half's I've seen in the UFC.

Herring is going to murder him !

I just hope Steve Mazzagatti isn't ref.

I've heard that the fighters actually get to have a say in who refs their fights (if they're big names) so I'd imagine Lesnar would vote no to proposition Mazzagatti this time around. He's not going to out-skill Herring though. He needs to bum rush with the takedown like everybody expects and try to finish it quick.

R.I.P. Brock.

I don't see how Herring is going ot murder him. Herring faced off against a weaker wrestler in Brad Imes and had no answer to his lay and prey

DumDum you are an idiot. You cant hit the back of the head, Brock did just that so they warned him and restarted. THATS HOW IT WORKS.

Lesnar matches up well with Herring though. Look how Herring held up against the decent wrestler in his UFC debut. He didnt. Brock is 10 times the wrestler as that bum was and he isnt afriad to throw either. Herring will lose in less then 2 minutes.

Champ, you are an idiot. Standard practice for all good refs is to give a verbal warning to not hit the back of the head. In many cases I've heard 5-10 verbals to watch the back of the head before a stop is made in the action. He stopped the action before a verbal was given. And it was only one punch as Mir was turning away. I think this is a taylor made matchup for Brock. He can take Heath down and keep him there. Heath has not fared well against wrestlers. I'll take Lesnar by GnP round 1.

Sorry, but Steve the 'Stache was the ref for Brock's last fight.

...and Champ, yes- they generally give warnings for hits to the back of the head- Brock wasn't given one. The fight was stopped, a point deducted and then restarted.

Brock Lesnar will beat the shit out of the tomato canned overrated shitboy.

Then after he conquers UFC, he will return to the WWE. It's all part of Vince McMahon's evil plan!
