Last night's edition of Elite XC/CBS Saturday Night Fights had 2.62 million viewers, down nearly 50% from the debut edition.

they didnt really advertise this one that much, the first commercial i seen for it that wasnt on cbs was friday afternoon

MMA promotions SUCK at marketing. Even UFC, unless youre constantly checking their webpage or pages like this you will never know when there is an event.

Add to it that last nights EliteXC card sucked could also have something to do with it. Scott "Ribs of Glass" Smith is a bum and when hes main eventing a card you know its nothing big. The first card had Kimbo fighting and for the 2 months before hand thats all I saw. And they got twice the rating, now they didnt do anything and got shit. Oh well.

What the hell? They need to advertise on more channels. I don't even watch CBS

While I don't agree that the card sucked, I do agree that they should've advertised better. The only reason I knew about this card is because I'm an mma nut that checks stuff online all the time. I never once saw a commercial for it.

That's what they get for getting rid of the dancing "Nitro Girls" on this one! i thought it was a good show though I didnt watch it until last night. you can't really complain for the price. it had more action than the last show on CBS as well as the last Ultimate Fight Night Live
