UFC 89 Confirmed For Spike TV

Another free UFC show on Spike......
Spike TV officials have confirmed that UFC 89 will indeed air on Spike TV via five-hour tape delay on October 18 from The NIA in Birmingham, England. Below is the rumored card which will be headlined by Michael Bisping vs. Chris Leben:
Main Card:
-Michael Bisping vs. Chris Leben
-Lyoto Machida vs. Thiago Silva
-Brandon Vera vs. Keith Jardine
-Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou vs. Luiz Cane
-Dan Hardy vs. Akihiro Gono
Prelim Card:
-Marcus Davis vs. Paul Kelly
-Chris Lytle vs. Paul Taylor
-Shane Carwin vs. Neil Wain
-Sam Stout vs. Terry Etim
-Jess Liaudin vs. David Bielkheden
-Per Eklund vs. Sammy Schiavo
UFC 90 will air one week later on PPV and will feature a main event of Anderson Silva defending his UFC middleweight title against Patrick Cote.
With that card if they'd done the show in the US it would have gone live on PPV.
No idea why they're doing 89 and 90 so close together

I want to see the prelims more than the main card. The prelims have fight of the night written all over them.

No wonder its free. Look at that card,yuck. They should pay us to watch it.Good thing I can read the results before it airs here to see if its even worth watching.Vera vs Jardine is kinda interesting,but the rest, no thanks,Lyoto is the common cure for insomnia.

nice card...should be a fun show. the vera/jardine fight should be very entertaining.

and here come the Bisping haters...
Anyway, swap Sokoudjou/Cane & Hardy/Gono with why didn't Lytle/Taylor and Davis/Kelly and you would have had a worthy PPV card.
But hey, what do you want for free?

Looks like a superb card to me. I do wish Hamill would fight Bisping again, though. I like Bisping, but Hamill beat his ass that first fight, and was robbed. Sorry, but that's the truth.

Damn this guy is fighting three more times than any Light Heavy or Heavy Champ of this world .
Anyway I truly hope Keith Jardine is gonna own his ass .
Jardine won me over with his exciting fighting style and his charisma .
