Former IFL Fighter Claude Patrick Assaulted

A horrific event for Patrick.......
Sherdog.com is reporting that former IFL welterweight fighter Claude Patrick was assaulted in a hotel room early Sunday morning in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada following a Freedom Fight event. According to the report Patrick and others were cornered on the room's eighth-floor patio and attacked by up to ten men wielding taser guns. Patrick was reportedly tased from behind and was later put in a medically induced coma by doctor's. Patrick was revived on Monday and had the following to say about this horrific attack:
"All I know is that I walked into my friend Pete Rodley's room to say goodnight and thanks for the show, and next thing I woke up in the hospital, I'm assuming I got tased from behind. They said I got hit with a stun gun or a taser and that's all she wrote."
"They kept me in an induced coma for 24 hours and I just got up today. Actually, I thought today was Sunday."
"I chipped a tooth and I bit my lip, I guess you kind of chatter your teeth when you're getting shocked."
"I've definitely been worse, but at the same time it wasn't a great ending to the weekend. To miss an entire day like that is a weird situation."
The condition of the rest of Patrick's party, as well as the identity of the attackers is unknown at the time.
