Fabricio Werdum Signs New Contract With UFC, Will Fight At UFC 90

Werdum isn't going anywhere........
During an interview with the Brazilian website Tatame, UFC heavyweight Fabricio Werdum announced that he has signed a new five-fight contract with the organization. Werdum also announced that he would be fighting at UFC 90 on October 25, most likely against UFC newcomer Junior "Cigano" dos Santos (6-1). In his new contract it states that if he's victorious in his next fight, he will receive a title shot at the UFC heavyweight title. Werdum had the following to say about his new deal:
"I wanna be the UFC heavyweight champion. A final (fight) against "Minotauro" (Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira) would be like a dream. It would be great for me because I fought against him [in] PRIDE, and it was a great fight. He deserved the victory."
