Holy mackeral...they had $268,715 in ticket sales but it looks as though they topped $530,000 in salaries?

Uh...hope they moved a lot of Kimbo t-shirts....? Maybe CBS gave them a sweet payday but if ratings keep slipping that will be gone, too.

Pity, because this last card was 10x better than the first. I think the first one gave them a black eye as 50% of viewers didn't return for the encore.

I love it how the most paid guy didn't even make it to the cbs portion of the show.

The reality is, they didn't have any names or hype for this show. The CBS portion was the female fight, Diaz/Denny (in what should have been a showcase fight for Diaz), a 60 second victory for a vacant title, & a 2 round decent fight between 2 guys that couldn't make it in the UFC. It may have been better than the first card, but it was by no means stellar. (I'm not including the Showtime portion, for the record).

BTW, was the CBS portion simulcast on Showtime?

where everbody crying about fighter salaries here? Oh, that's right we're only allowed to complain about the UFC because everybody else is super.

Last time I checked, the UFC has the ability to pay people better than EliteXC. This is being generous for how big a promotion XC is. UFC is down right ripping there fighters off when you figure how much they make in PPV,DVDS,Shirts, advertising etc.God dang,Affliction keeps looking better and better as these piss poor payouts keep coming.
