Man that is quite the hit and unless Fedor can get cleared early puts a big damper on his 2008 fighting schedule.

Fedor plans on fighting in Japan for the New Years. Will it matter if Califoria doesn't want to let him fight. He will probaly fight there unless his hand is broken.

We will have to see

Fedor can be cleared early by a doctor... so he'll either heal early and get medical clearance - or his camp will pay a doctor to say he healed early and get medical clearance.

I don't see the problem here. If Fedor wants to fight, he will.

Affliction got screwed over by these suspensions. You never hear about UFC fighters getting mandatory/can-be-cleared-by-a-doctor suspensions. Really makes you wonder.

It doesn't make me wonder at all... UFC fighters often have the same issues.

Here's the link to the last UFC PPV medical suspensions- notice there are a whole bunch of those mandatory/ cleared by doctor suspensions - including RAMPAGE out until Jan 2:

This shit happens after EVERY MMA EVENT. Just cause you didn't hear about it, doesn't mean it didn't happen. Most of the time the Doctors are able to clear them before their full suspension is up. Like someone above me said, if Fedor wants to fight Fedor will fight.

@ hhhh (Guest)

you idiot, Fedor has always had problems with his hand before and after his surgery with his right thumb !

It's just a precaution ! All fighters get this ! As they don't want them fighting again until the next scheduled fight either there or else where !

Can't he just drop some of that $300,000 and just get his cyborg hand replaced?
