Gina Carano To Face Kelly Kobald-Gavin At October EliteXC Show

Carano won't be fighting Cyborg.....
MMAJunkie.com is reporting that Gina Carano (6-0) will be facing Kelly Kobald-Gavin (16-2-1) at EliteXC's next CBS special scheduled for October 4. It had been rumored that Carano would face Cristiane Cyborg at the event, however that won't be the case. Kobald-Gavin last competed for BodogFIGHTs in August of 2006 where she suffered a unanimous-decision loss to Julie Kedzie.
let's see if Carano can actually make weight this time.

Wait...what? EliteXC actually had a fight that people wanted to see and chose not to do it?
Alright, now I can agree that EliteXC doesn't want to make money.

Interesting decision. They better hope though that Kimbo brings in the ratings on that October show or there won't be another CBS show for Gina vs Cyborg.
