Team US is off to a rough start as two fighters are sent home. The remaining fighters compete for a chance to be coached by Dan Henderson and take on Team UK to be crowned this seasons Ultimate Fighter.

Team US vs. Team UK
Episode 2
Previously: 16 British fighters fought, 8 won, Team UK is now set. Team US is decided tonight.
We get highlights of Dan Henderson vs. Rich Franklin from UFC 93 as Dana tells us that the winner got to coach Team US. Henderson won that fight by Split Decision. Henderson and Dana arrive at the Vegas gym. Hendo's goal is to, "beat the hell out of the UK guys." Dana gives the usual pre-show pep talk. During the talk, someone faints. Didn't they do this storyline last year? They say that Jason (the guy who fainted) crashed because he's been cutting too much weight. The fighters get checked by the doctors and John has herpes on his head so he's sent home. Another guy, Christian, can't make weight. They did the "a guy can't make weight on the first day" storyline last year as well. Christian is outside on the bike in a sweat suit trying to cut the weight. Christian is two pounds over. He starts running on the treadmill and ends up falling off and nearly throwing up.
"IT'S SEASON NINE MOTHER FUCKERS!" says Dana and that's followed by the greatest facial reaction ever only behind Dana's facials in the Penn vs. Pulver ping pong war. This man should never be off TV. Dana gathers everyone around again and sends Christian home. No one gets a pass into the house though so the two fighters without opponents will still have to fight.
Welterweight Fight: Mark Miller vs. Kevin Knabjian
These guys are training partners off the show.
Recap: First round was all on the feet. Mark won the round throwing crisp combos and good power punches. Neither was close to being finished. Kevin dropped Mark early in the second but failed to put him away. They got back on the feet and Mark unloaded on Kevin, rocking him numerous times before he finally dropped him and the ref stopped it.
Kevin was upset with the stoppage and pushed Mark away as he tried to hug him. "I guess they're not friends anymore" said Henderson.
Winner – Mark Miller, TKO, Round 2
Lightweight Fight: Richie Whitson vs. Paul Bird
Dana says that Richie looks like Shaun White, the pro snowboarder/skateboarder. Paul loves fighting in the cage because, "I can do whatever I want to my opponent, legally." Except the tactics that aren't legal of course. Paul says, "I'm gonna fight to the death. I'm gonna kill this mother fucker." Does anyone remember what happened to the last guy that said those words?
Recap: Richie did a good job sprawling and scrambling out of bad positions before dominating on the feet and finally securing a rear naked choke for the win. Very impressive performance.
Lightweight Fight: Waylon Lowe vs. Santino Defranco
Santino tried out for TUF2 and made it but couldn't compete due to a brain aneurism. He got that removed and it trying to make it to the house again.
Recap: Waylon took him down early and spent the entire round beating Santino with elbows and punches as Santino did nothing but cover up. The fight could have arguably been stopped as Santino literally never fought back and only held his arms over his face as he was getting punched and elbowed. Santino rocked Waylon with a flying knee to start the second round, took him down, and locked in a rear naked choke to win.
Welterweight Fight: Jason Pierce vs. (No First Name) Berger
Recap (Highlight Fight): The fight went three rounds. Dana wasn't impressed by it. Pierce won.
Winner – Jason Pierce, Unanimous Decision
Lightweight Fight: Cameron Dollar vs. Tom Hayden
Recap (Highlight Fight): Hayden dominated the first round by taking the back and pounding him. He did the same in the second until Dollar slipped out the back door, got Hayden's back, and sunk in a rear naked choke.
Welterweight Fight: Damarques Johnson vs. Ray Elbe
Damarques likes to smile. "I'm here to get paid and hurt people's feelings. It's time………to do the man dance." This guy rules.
Recap: Damarques sprawled out of a takedown and ended up mounting Ray. From there he pounded on him and cut him open until the ref stopped it.
Winner – Damarques Johnson, TKO, Round 1
Dan Henderson hands out his Team US jersey to his six fighters. Two guys walk into the gym and they'll be the opponents for the two guys who didn't fight. One of the guys is Junie Browning's brother. Jason Dent vs. Rob Browning and Kyle Reed vs. Frank Lester will take place next week.
This Season: A bunch of fights and a bunch of house drama.
Show Comments: Pretty much the same as last week. It's just fights with guys who you don't really know and no build. Thank God the real stuff starts next week.
That Santino fight was horse$hit. He did nothing for over 3 minutes and the fight wasnt stopped. Complete garbage. And great, can look forward to another jackass Browning. Hopefully he will get humbled like his brother.

The second I heard the name Browning, I realized that we were going to be in for the same bullshit. If you notice, he's in the house shots, so I guess he wins next week. FML

I don't think Rob won from that footage, I think that's them in the house before the two fights. I hope so anyway. I like Junie (as a fighter, not a person) and really don't wanna see that shit happen again. Inevitably someone is gonna be a huge dick though.
Anyway, they really shoulda stopped the Santino fight but uh... Damn, could the guy on top hit him? Waylon, he's not fighting back... One sustained flurry and it's over. Instead he threw a punch or elbow like once every ten or twenty seconds and sat there like, "Uh hey I win now, right?" Near the end when he DID pick up his pace Santino _kinda_ tried to push him away a bit so... Waylon gave that fight away. Gift wrapped and bow tied.

How sick was that dude's Herpes lesion? And on his forehead? That thing was the size of a saucer and stuck out like two inches from his forehead. My main question would have to be whether that's mouth herpes (cold sore) or genital herpes? Either way, it's disgusting.

I had the same thought Common Sense, I spent the last two minutes of the first round saying "just stop it" over and over.
His opponent came into the second round thinking he was fighting a beaten man and got caught. Doesn't say much for his opponent either but Santino should have never seen the 2nd round

Geez both of you, why don't we give him a chance before we crucify him for being related to "The Other" Browning. For all we know Rob could be nothing like Junie...
i.e. he has talent AND can stay out of trouble (For the most part)

Watch the preview, he's all ready throwing eggs and smashing them on people and yelling in their face to hit him, "C'mon, hit me, I dare you!" blah blah. UGH. I hate that crap.

I wasn't impressed by anyone, your guys were fuckin dropping left n right, that ginger kid looks like he should be bagging my shopping at the local super market & the Lowe/Defranco should have been stopped about 2 mins before the end of the 1st. Looks like if our guys can guard against the choke it'll be all Brit. finals
