The Ultimate Fighter 9
Team US vs. Team UK
Episode 3
Previously: Team UK was settled with no problems, two Team US fighters were kicked off. Two fights tonight to decide the final spots for Team US.
Opening Video
The fighters get to the house for the first time and walls and doors are spray painted with US and UK flags. Team US makes fun of the UK accents, Team UK makes fun of US always cursing. Everyone is outside when Robert Browning starts tossing eggs off the balcony at them. Robert starts arguing with one of the Team UK members and then decides to urinate in the shower. Robert now argues with a Team US member. He smashes an egg on his chest and yells at him to, "hit me." Win or lose, Robert Browning will be on the main card of The Ultimate Finale 9.
Everyone sits by the fire and lays down some ground rules. No pissing in foods, no messing with the bed areas, really no practical jokes. Robert was not part of this discussion.
At the Team US training session, Henderson says that Team UK doesn't know how to wrestle well so Team US will focus on wrestling, clinch work, and ground and pound. Michael Bisping arrives to the UFC gym while Team US is still training. Damarques says, "everyone is working hard" and Bisping mocks him. Damarques then gets defensive and tries to act tough like he wants to fight Bisping. I always love it when these TUF guys want to fight one the coaches.
At the Team UK training session, Bisping was expecting to take things light but it soon turns into a hard sparring session. Bisping is impressed with the first day of training.
Robert says that he usually fights at 135 so he's already 5 pounds under the 155 limit. He tries to get on the good side of Team UK but they're not having it. Jason (Robert's opponent) has been fighting for 8 years and is more experienced than Robert. Frank has been training for 2 ½ years and is excited to fight in front of Dana, Henderson, and Bisping. Kiel (Frank's opponent) is more experience and trains out of the Miletich camp.
Welterweight Fight: Kiel Reid vs. Frank Lester
Recap: Kiel dominated early with a takedown and almost finished it with a guillotine as Frank got to his feet. Kiel went for another takedown but ended up knocking himself out as he slammed Frank down. Frank had a kimura locked on as he hit the ground but Kiel couldn't tap or fight it because he was out. Very unfortunate ending.
Winner – Frank Lester, TKO, Round 1
After the fight, Lester celebrates while Kiel says, "you know you can't beat me" and Frank responds with, "I just did." Lester continues to yell and talk big.
Lightweight Fight: Robert Browning vs. Jason Dent
Recap: Fight was all on the feet and even until Robert shoot in, got caught with a hook, turtled up and got pounded on with knees to the body. Jason then put him on his back and pounded him until the ref stopped it.
Winner: Jason Dent, TKO, Round 1
Henderson was happy Robert lost because he didn't want to deal with another Junie Browning.
Everyone gathers around and Dana flips a coin to see who controls the first fight selection. Fight selection goes back and fourth this season so it's not win and have control. Team US wins the coin flip. Bisping says his guys are ready to fight right now.
End Show
Next Week: Bisping gets under the skin of Team US, a really good fight.
Show Comments: Two quick fights and some contrived in house stuff where Robert was clearly just trying to get himself over after watching his brother last season. The show for me really starts next week.
Robert Browning will end up in WEC as part of the Featherweight, or new Flyweight division.

Yay! Three hoorays for Jason Dent! Even if he loses his first qualifier, he's already MVP of TUF 9 just for beating up Robert Browning.

Frank Lester is a huge douche and I can't wait to see him lose. He couldn't even properly kimura a guy who was knocked out yet he still gloated like he did something.
And is it just me or are these guys terrible (yes, they could still kick my ass)? I mean there is no one here who would pose the slightest threat to even UFC LW and WW gatekeepers.

Well shit. I thought Kiel was going to go far, if not win it all.
I predict that someone gets injured, and he comes back

Good to see Browning got TKO'd, are him and Junie retarded or are they just a product of inbreeding???

Yes, Frank Lester is a piece of trash. Remember when Pete Sell was out on his feet and Matt Brown had enough class and professionalism to attempt to get the ref to stop it? When Lester felt that Reid wasn't fighting back or offering any resistance, he should've stopped and looked to the ref for further instructions. Especially when everyone outside the cage was yelling, "He's out! He's out!"

Yes, Mark Miller has already beaten Josh Neer and Brad Blackburn, both UFC fighters, like Danzig, I am surprised he hasn't made it to the UFC yet.

Just watched the episode - finally, I might add. I do not see any reason for bringing Rob Browning into the house to begin with. Long shot to get ratings, but had the dude actually made the house, he might have gotten a beatdown at some point. At least he should have.

Stop your bitching. For one, he wasn't even facing him, he didn't know he was out, for another, there's a ref in there for a reason. And finally, if you'd ever been in even a spar, you'd know you can't hear anything aside from maybe your coach, you're too focused on fighting.
