He only likes 195 because he has nothing to do at 185 since Hendo and Silva are both too good, and he can't compete at 205 because of Page, Shogun, Machida etc. There's not really much of a reason to put a 195 in right now because there aren't even really enough at 185, and everyone at 205 is okay there. A 165 would be nice though and WW bumped to 175, since 10 lbs is so huge at the lower weight classes.

I wanted Wand to win, but that fight was really close and I can't argue with Franklin winning be decision. I wanted to see Wand-Anderson but I don't know if that will happen now.

Time zone differences. I don't like watching them this early either but I assumed it'd be spoiled so I went and saw it at the live airtime. Not the first time UFC has done this but the crowd sucked once again over there so it should be the last for awhile.

I think we all know that Wanderlei isn't a serious threat to Anderson Silva ignoring a wild roundhouse, but to be honest, does anyone even care anymore? People just want to watch Wanderlei fight, whether he wins or not is something altogether different.

WANDERLEI MW! Let's see it. But I can't see him beating any serious competition.

It's like Smackdown!..Pre-taped and predetermined...

German/US time delay started at 3pm our time.

The broken nose coupled with that weight cut seemed to REALLY affect Wand. A fresher Wandy KOs Franklin, I think, but no use in dwelling on it.

I hope cutting doesn't hurt him that bad every time, or his move to the MW division could be really ugly. That said, he looked exhausted and still had a chance to win the fight; I'll take a wait and see approach.

how old is that picture of Frankilin on the home page??????

Wanderlei is off his tits! Regardless of any performance, his post match comments are priceless! Win, "I win", lose "I win"! The guy might be as dominant as he was in pride ('no knee and stomps to downed opponent', his downcline started in Pride you plonker!) but he has upmost respect for the real ppl who pay his wages...the fans. No one can say they marked out when he waved his hands in the air for the crowd to make more noise while stalking Franklin!?!?!?!?!

Posted By: Guest#8566 (Guest)  on June 14, 2009 at 03:35 AM

I think Kongo got more of a boost in that fight than Cain did. We all know Kongo is shit on the ground, but his sprawl looked WAY better. Knowing how good Cain is, Kongo's takedown defense was semi-impressive. If he could ACTUALLY learn to wrestle and worked his cardio he'd be a serious threat.

Velasquez on the other hand looks like he can't finish anybody who's tougher than... I don't know. I guess Denis Stojnić is his toughest opponent? Still, with wrestling that dominant and cardio that strong he doesn't need to finish you, he'll just hold you down and pepper you for 15 minutes of torture.

Nick Diaz the Heavyweight.
