Everyone wrote Silva off after he lost to Machida. Hopefully this re-establishes him as an up and comer in the division. Look out for him and Jon Jones over the next year.

So glad Nogueira won. Few were giving him much of a chance but he was all over Couture and makes just about everybody look like a jackass for thinking he was done. The Nog in this fight and the Nog in the Mir fight looked like two different fighters.
War Nog.

D.Maia this "great" BJJ guy and gets KTFO. Just like a real Gracie, BJJ but no stand-up. Back to the drawing board.

fuck yeah Big Nog wins!!!!

Get in! Nog vs. Brock is far more interesting than Couture vs. Brock II, given that Couture has NOTHING to threaten Brock with. Okay, okay, he's pulled upsets before, but Brock is like a bigger, stronger, younger version of Couture who smothers his opponents and uses superb wrestling. Couture can't do anything to him for my money, whereas Nog is a superior BJJ fighter than Mir (yeah I know he lost, but Mir never engaged BJJ because he knew he'd be outclassed) that will seriously test Brock AND weather the storm as he has done all career long.
Brock will need to watch for the third round subs that caught Sylvia and grind out a points win over Nog I'd guess. ONE MISTAKE and he'd be done, and that's what I find intriguing about that fight.
Nog is back!

Picked Nog to win since day 1. Couture is overrated, only way he was winning this was by decision, I was surprised to see Nog win by decision, I thought he would have taken damage and pulled off a submission like usual

I couldn't be happier with the Maia finish. Dude is overrated like a mother. It's MIXED MARTIAL ARTS. If your standup sucks, you're only going to get lucky so much.

Epic Main Event this one really lived up to that word. Nog and Randy both showed why they are legends in this sport. You got all the know-it-alls saying "Randy Should retire: and as I said last night fuck you Randy looked great, thats why he's outlasted all his contemporaries. I seriously want Randy's conditioning program its amazing that at 46 he can still compete at the high level. For Nog techincally after that accident when he was a kid he shouldn't even be fighting, when he was a kid a truck rolled on him thats how he has the scar on his back but today here he is. Seriously Nog has a whose who of people he's beaten I think he just might beat out Dan Henderson for toughest man in the sport. I'd Nog's program too or just his will power (and I think we all would) he proved the loss to Mir was just because of staph infection and went out tonight and beat one of the great ones. My hat is off to both of these guys they are true legends and speaking of the lucky Mir maybe both these guys can pound on him next Randy can show him hows its done and Nog can own him in a rematch.

Always funny to see all the big nog nuthuggers not being here before the gfight and coming only if he wins and same for Couture.
My money was on Couture winning via UD or a Nog via Sub early , first time in his career Randy is defeated into a decision.
He is 16-10 now with one fight remaining on his contract.
It's damn obvious he wants to go to StrikeForce to die against Fedor but well he would more wise re signing a three matches contract with the UFC AND going back to LHW where a lot of interesting and fresh matches for him are there :
A/ Machida
B/ Rampage
C/ Evans
D/ Thiago Silva
E/ Lil Nog
Even a rematch with Tito Ortiz would be huge money for the UFC and fun to watch.

he signed a 28month 6 fight contrace just recently with ufc so no more fedor couture strikeforce
