Who didn't see Diaz winning by submission? Melvin has no submission defense. All in all though, great fight card. Pretty close call for Condit in the opening round.

it took them 15-20 minutes to get to the very first fight. kind of ticked me off

aw, you guys left the best description out of the Diaz fight.
Guillard looked like he was doing well in that fight to me, but that stupid move where he stumbled back into the cage goofing off and then made that lame dive/fall forward toward Diaz was horrible. And to watch Diaz lock that choke in was sweet justice for his stupidity.

How come the free shows on TV are always better than the shit we have to pay $50 for? The free cards on Spike have, so far, delivered much better fights, action, and excitement, than the PPVs. And KenFlo did as good or better than Joe Rogan.

I'm just wondering how the live audience felt about having to watch pretty much all but 3 matches end by decision.

Larry I am suprised you didnt mention that it was Melvins stupid and wreckles antics that got him tapped out.
Also, if you have that fight recorded, watch how long it takes for Nate to set up that submission. It was like Melvin couldnt see it coming a mile away.

All 4 fights were awesome, and this is probably one of the best fight nights, and possibly any show, I've seen. Granted, I had it PVR'd so the pace of the show didn't bother me that much :). I agree with the KenFlo comment, he did an excellent job and didn't seem out of place at all.

I thought it was interesting how Maynard and Huerta both stood there after the call, waiting to see if KenFlo was going to interview them - and the production crew basically went the opposite way. Obviously they didn't want to give Huerta an opportunity to pull a Kanye and bury the company on the way out.
I also think if that wouldn't have been the last fight on his contract, Huerta would have tapped out when Maynard trapped him in that shoulder lock (or whatever you want to call it). I think he didn't tap just for the fact that it was his last fight and he didn't want to go out like that.

"I'm just wondering how the live audience felt about having to watch pretty much all but 3 matches end by decision. "
I'm betting nobody cares, because they are all good to great fights.

Echoing the sentiments of Ken Flo on commentary. Very well done, and well spoken.
