-Daniel Cormier is making his debut. It is a highly skilled wrestler and former Olympian, and has had roughly four weeks of MMA training. He is said to have "amazing potential", we shall see.
-His opponent, Gary Frazier, is a former Oklahoma state-wrestling champion, and has been training in MMA for two years.
HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT - Daniel Cormier (0-0) vs. Gary Frazier (0-0):
ROUND ONE
: Frazier will have a 5.5-inch reach advantage. Here we go. They come out, dance around a bit and a jab by Cormier. Frazier is using good side-to-side movement, jabs by Cormier and backing him off. A leg kick and overhand right by Cormier. A knee stops a takedown, they clinch, to the cage and a right by Cormier. Jab by Cormier, Frazier runs, Frazier looks for a takedown, but Cormier on his back now. Hard lefts by Cormier, Frazier covers up, body shots by Cormier now. Frazier is just covering up, tried to buck him, to his feet but slips to his back. Cormier stands in the guard and then gets side control. Cormier traps the right arm with his legs, works body shots as Frazier gets his arm out. Cormier gets his back again, HARD body shots now. DONKEY KONG SHOTS by Cormier with both hands, Frazier to his feet and runs from Cormier. Frazier with two good rights now, but his hands are low. Frazier backs off and is already tired. Great jab by Cormier, leg kick as well. The round ends.
SCORECARD:: Cormier 10-9
ROUND TWO: Round two begins and Frazier misses with rights and lefts. Good jab by Frazier, one by Cormier. Leg kick by Cormier, right by Cormier as Frazier backs off once again. Cormier grabs a single leg, Frazier grabs the cage and then runs. They trade jabs, body kick by Frazier. To the cage, combo by Cormier, they clinch and Frazier blocks the slam nicely. Jab by Cormier, right follows. Another right and to the cage. Frazier tries a knee, slips and falls to the mat. Half guard by Cormier, dropping big rights and then gets the mount. Postures up, not doing much at first, but then drops some good shots. Cormier gets the back, hooks in and then pounds him out as the official stops the fight. Ranallo drops a JR's BBQ Sauce liner.
THE RESULT: Daniel Cormier via RD2 (3:39) TKO
Stephen Quadros is with Daniel Cormier. Cormier asks the crow dif that was exciting, and they say yes. He thanks his coaches, sponsors and family. Cormier breaks down the fight, saying Frazier landed good jabs and also mentions he hurt his wrist a week ago.
CATCHWEIGHT BOUT - Travis Calonoc (4-0) vs. Thomas Longacre (4-0):
ROUND ONE: Round one begins as Longacre with a good right, Calonoc misses a body kick and runs into a combo. Hard leg kick by Longacre, who is controlling the cage. Good right and leg kick by Longacre followed by a combo. Jabs by Longacre, they clinch and a combo and leg kick by Longacre. Another good combo by Longacre, Calonoc shoots, stuffed and to the cage they go. They separate, jab by Calonoc. Leg kick by Longacre, left uppercut and combo follows. Head kick checked by Calonoc. Back kick by Calonoc, combo by Longacre. Calonoc blocks the head kick, knees follow and Calonoc comes alive. Another elbow and left hook follows. Longacre misses the head kick, knees by Calonoc. Leg kick by Calonoc, combo by Longacre. Both land jabs, Longacre slips off of the leg kick, Calonoc looks for a guillotine, but Longacre is in the half guard. Longacre stands, leg kick and the round ends as they trade.
SCORECARD:: Close round, Longacre 10-9
ROUND TWO: Round two begins, they circle a bit, Calonoc tries to chase with a combo, jab by Longacre. Leg kick by Calonoc, left hook by Calonoc follows. Combo by Longacre, leg kick follows. Leg kick by Longacre, combo follows. Leg kick again, left by both and a knee by Calonoc. Longacre working combos again, leg kick by Calonoc, but eats a combo. Leg kick by Longacre, high kick blocked. Great right by Longacre and a body shot follows. Calonoc catches a kick, but Longacre backs off and then lands a leg kick. High kick by Longacre checked. Longacre catches a kick and shoves Calonoc down, but backs off. Another great combo by Longacre and the leg kick follows. Calonoc looks for the guillotine, Longacre out and into half guard. Longacre backs off and to his feet. Flurry by Longacre to finish the round.
SCORECARD:: Longacre 20-18
ROUND THREE: Final round begins, they touch and Longacre is already starting with a good combo. Leg kick as Longacre controls the cage again. Left by Calonoc, body kick as well. Leg kicks by Longacre, Calonoc looks for the guillotine again, Longacre into side control and then backs off. Back to the feet, and a combo by Longacre. Spinning back fist by Calonoc misses. Jabs by both men, combo by Longacre and a high kick lands, but not very hard. Calonoc is dead tired here, good combo hits both levels for Longacre. Calonoc again looks for a guillotine, Longacre out and in the guard. Calonoc almost gets an arm bar, Longacre smartly gets to the feet and lands a body kick. Final minute now, knees by Calonoc, but Longacre lands another combo. Jab by Longacre, combo follows and they both get wild and throw as the round comes to an end!
SCORECARD:: Longacre 30-27.
THE RESULT: Thomas Longacre via unanimous decision (30-27 Across The Cards)
Quadros is with Longacre, who asks if they had a good time. They say sure. He says they came to give a war, and that is what they did. Longacre says he isn't used to getting kneed, so he had to change strategy.
WELTERWEIGHT BOUT - Zach Light (6-8) vs. Tyron Woodley (3-0):
ROUND ONE: Round one begins as both come out, circle and both throw shots to find distance. Good combo by Woodley. Hard body kick by Woodley, overhand right by Light. Leg kick by Light, right by Woodley. Good knee by Woodley, to the cage and a slam by Woodley. Right into the half guard, controls the head and lands short shots. Light rolls, but Woodley stays on top and in the half guard. A good right by Woodley, shoulder shrug by Woodley, works Light to the cage and lands body shots. Side control by Woodley, tries to mount but too close to the cage. Gets mount now, big rights follow. Arm triangle by Woodley, it's tight, Light works to escape, Woodley back to mount, Light escapes and Woodley lands good shots as Light tries to pull him close. Woodley keeps working from mount, Light tries to roll but Woodley keeps control as the round ends.
SCORECARD:: Woodley 10-9
ROUND TWO: Round two begins, jabs from both, combo by Light. Another combo from Light, high lick checked by Light. Body kick by Woodley, huge knee lands as Light was coming in. Woodley SLAMS light down, good ground and pound, Woodley locks in the arm triangle again, knee on belly, releases as he goes to mount and starts to land good shots again. Woodley looks for the arm triangle once again, he's too high again with it, releases and keeps Light against the cage. Woodley stands, lets Light up and a leg kick by Woodley. Woodley shoots, SLAMS Light again! Into the mount once again, Light bucks, and Woodley gets an arm bar out of that, cranks on it, and Light taps!
THE RESULT: Tyron Woodley via RD2 (3:38) Submission
Woodley says he would have done the submission better, he is growing, but he I still has more to learn. He thanks his sponsors, Jesus and such.
HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT - Kevin Jordan (11-7) vs. Ray Sefo (1-0):
ROUND ONE: And here we go. Leg kick by Sefo. Another, Jordan shoots and Sefo ends up on top. Sefo in half guard, now into the full guard. Sefo not comfortable at all here, not doing, well, anything. Jordan sweeps and gets on top in side control. Lands good lefts, knees to the ribs by Jordan. Works rights to the body, lefts to the head and islanding well right now. Jordan gets the key lock, Sefo gets out, but takes more punishment. More knees from Jordan, and gets mount. He starts to rain down shots, tries to roll, Jordan landing short shots now. Body shots and head shots by Jordan, Sefo doing nothing but covering up. Sefo on his side, east more punches, Sefo finally tries to buck, Jordan keeps landing as the round ends.
SCORECARD:: Jordan 10-9
ROUND TWO: Round two begins, Jordan shoots, fails, grabs his knee and Sefo in, he backs off as Jordan looks to have blown his knee out, and the fight is over.
THE RESULT: Ray Sefo via RD2 (0:24) verbal submission {INJURY}
Quadros is with Sefo, and he says he didn't want to win that way. He was comfortable in round one and was never in trouble. He says he learned that he has to learn a ground game. No shit.

MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT - Zak Cummings (10-0) vs. Tim Kennedy (10-2):
ROUND ONE: And here we go with the main event of the evening. They touch and a high kick by Kennedy just misses. Body kick by Kennedy, shoots and takes Cummings down. Cummings looks for a kimura, Kennedy out of that, in half guard, lands good right to the head of Cummings. Big right by Kennedy, he looks to trap the arm and more rights by Kennedy. Kennedy hops on his back, hammer fists now, and into mount goes Kennedy. HARD body shots by Kennedy, Cummings tries to block, flattens him out with complete back control for Kennedy, Cummings manages to roll, half guard as Kennedy keeps landing hard shots. Kennedy is easily controlling Cummings, working good shots from half guard. Mount again by Kennedy, gets the back now and Cummings is just a punching bag. Kennedy looks for a choke, back to full mount and then gets the back, flattens him, rains down, almost gets an arm bar, and they go to the feet as the round ends. Holy one-sided round.
SCORECARD:: 10-8 Kennedy
ROUND TWO: Cummings has a mouse over his right eye. Round two begins now, leg kick by Kennedy. Body kick follows. Two lefts by Kennedy, starts to land well and Cummings may not be able to see well out of the right eye judging by what Kennedy is landing. A right by Cummings, leg kick by Kennedy, to the cage and Kennedy shoves him off. Leg kick by Cummings, a left follows. High kick checked by Cummings. Kennedy looks for a guillotine now, Cummings with a single leg, left hook as well. Knees by Kennedy, Cummings for a takedown, and Kennedy looks for the choke. North south choke now, and Cummings has to tap.
THE RESULT: Tim Kennedy via RD2 (2:43) Submission
Quadros is with Kennedy. Kennedy says it feels great to fight on American Forces Network. He thanks he military, and says Cummings will be great in a year, and he doesn't want to fight him then. Kennedy promises to get better, and his conditioning is only getting better. They talk Miller vs. Shields, and he wants the middleweight belt He has to refine things, but wants a rubber match with Miller.
