Kimbo turns down fighting while Roy Nelson, Brendan Schaub, James McSweeney and Marcus Jones made the final four, but what two fighters will battle in Saturday’s finale? Check out 411’s complete Ultimate Fighter report for all the details!



Last time, on the Ultimate Fighter… Brendan Schaub defeated Jon Madsen via round two KO, Rashad had coaching issues, Matt Mitrione still claimed to have health issues due to his scrambled brain, Rashad and Rampage battled in beach volleyball, and there was more speculation of Kimbo Slice's return to fighting on the show, although he is nursing a knee injury…

411's Ultimate Fighter Report 12.02.09: Episode Eleven-Twelve

We Dana's speech from last week about wanting to be a fighter. He was surprised that no one came to him to take Mitrione's spot. He wanted to talk to Kimbo, because he is a fighter. We see the meeting. Kimbo says he cannot fight on his toes, and he wants to perform well. He also doesn't want to lose again because he can't move like he wants to due to his knee injury. Knowing what he knows, he can't do it. They sent him to a knee specialist, and he does have arthritis and can get a cortisone shot, but he doesn't want it. Dana says he will not force him to fight, but Dana never expected him to turn down a fight. Kimbo says it was hard to turn it down, but this is the highest level and he needs to be smart. He is in no condition to fight McSweeney. He says he is only 40%, and that isn't fair to anyone. He wants to let his shit heal to fight another day.

We see Mitrione talking to his doctor, and he says he feels great and wants to fight. He assures the doctor that he feels great and he has clearance to fight. He tells Rashad that he is cleared to fight, and Rashad thinks he is full of shit.

We see McSweeney training, and he is happy that Mitrione wants to fight. He plans to stay aggressive, and says his stand up is superior and that Mitrione has no ground game. Mike Wessel says that McSweeney may go in too aggressive. Most think that McSweeney will win easily. McSweeney doesn't like Mitrione, but will stay professional and win the fight.

Mitrione says he was messing with James, and that he was fine after some sleep, and used that to his advantage and to entertain himself. He isn't actually that unstable.

Back at the house, Scott Junk comes back and is back from seeing the doctor. His career may be over, as he has two small tears in his left retina. He had laser surgery, and even with the repairs, it can happen again. He has fought for 6-years, and he wants a second and third opinion.

The guys talk about Junk's eye in the van, and Marcus Jones is PISSED. He contemplates if it was him, and when he gets to the gym, he goes off on Mitrione. He begs Mitrione to hit him because he will KILL HIM MOTHER FUCKER! They get separated, and Rashad thought he would kill Mitrione. Rashad knew Mitrione was at fault. Rashad says that is what it means to be a fighter, injuries happen. The other guys tell Mitrione what happened with Junk, and the other guys defend him and say that it happens. Rampage says Marcus took it hard, and he is sensitive. He is nice, but he will kill you. Jones says he wants to kill him again since Junk's career is done, and he wants revenge on him. He wants to choke him and pound him and then break his arm. Rampage tries to calm him down and tells him that his future is more important. Rampage asks if he will do something to him, and makes him promise that he will not hurt Mitrione.

Junk makes it to practice to talk with the guys. He has been told that he shouldn't fight, but that he can if he wishes. Jones says not to scare him like that again.

Mitrione weighs in at 256, while McSweeney is 229. They get into a shoving match at the weigh-ins and Mitrione says he will lay his ass out. McSweeney says he will give Mitrione what he deserves.

Fight day is here, and Mitrione says he has nothing to prove. Both guys prepare.

James McSweeney {3-3} vs. Matt Mitrione {2-0}

ROUND ONE: Herb Dean is the official. They come out, leg kick by McSweeney. Body kick by McSweeney, misses the high kick, jab by Mitrione. Combo by Mitrione lands, leg kick by McSweeney. Another and a left by Mitrione. Combo by Mitrione, they trade kicks, push kick by McSweeney. Right hook by McSweeney, they both throw wildly, body shot by McSweeney. Overhand right by McSweeney, kick and Mitrione with a combo answers. Combo by McSweeney, they clinch, McSweeney with a leg and takes Mitrione down. Mitrione looks for a leg lock as McSweeney gets warned for grabbing the fence. McSweeney into side control, north south now, body shots by McSweeney. Elbows follow, Mitrione to his feet, and McSweeney gets a guillotine. Mitrione taps.

OFFICIAL DECISION: James McSweeney via RD1 Submission

McSweeney is happy with the win, isn't injured and says it is just how he wanted it to go. Mitrione is pissed at himself. He admits to tapping like a bitch.

Jones talks about fighting titties. Titties says they will both fight hard, and they both have a dream. We see them preparing for the fight, and Jones says Titties will fight hard. No weigh-ins for the fight.

Darrill "TITIES" Schoonover {10-0} vs. Marcus Jones {4-2}

ROUND ONE: Herb Dean is the official. Jones out with a kick, and then takes Schoonover down. Side control right away, and a good right hand as he traps the head with his leg. He locks in a half head scissors, lands good rights, Schoonover out of that, Jones wants the arm, almost had it, gets the back of Schoonover and then into guard. Good shots by Jones, Schoonover looks to push him off, but Jones stands and then muscles his way back into guard. Elbows by Jones, works the body, big rights land and Herb Dean stops the fight. Titties got jacked.

OFFICIAL DECISION: Marcus Jones via RD 1 KO

Dana was impressed, and says he is a scary dude and a finisher. Titties says this was his first loss and KO, and he took it hard. He promises to train hard and come back.

Marcus says he started two-years ago and couldn't even punch. He wants to win and fulfill his dream.

Everyone meets and Dana picked the fights. They will be three 5-minutes rounds. Nelson vs. McSweeney and Jones vs. Schaub are the semifinals.

Rashad wants his guys to go to the finals. Rampage tells Jones that he has the talent to make it, and he feels that he can win. Rashad and Rampage joke around, and Rampage says Rashad always starts shit. Rampage says he cannot wait to beat Rashad, but alas, we aren't getting that. Rampage says he has EVERYTHING FOR HIS ASS! Not gay at all. Nope, not at all. Rampage says he will be a pitbull and take out Rashad.

Rampage says if Jones wins, it will be the best thing ever. They discuss the fight, and say that Jones needs to take his opponent down and take him out as soon as possible. Jones can tackle a fucker if he needs to, he has skills.

As they train, Tiki brings big pink bears, monkeys and horses for team Rashad. Rampage says they will get mad at this one, if not, they are gay. They then pain the team Rashad locker room pink and put in a disco ball.

Back at the house, McSweeney has a sharpie and writes on some dude's head. He wrote LINDA on his head. He then changes it to LINDAGAY.

Back at the gym is Team Rashad, and he sees the locker room. There is also a blow up doll with Rashad's tights on it. The fighters don't want to warm up in there now. Now they go to train. He thinks it will be an all team Rashad finals. Nelson says he will win, somehow. McSweeney says Nelson has never been knocked out, but he has power he hasn't seen yet.

As Zak Jensen is in the bathroom, they wedge him in there. Apparently he gets claustrophobic. He tries to bash his way out of the bathroom and McSweeney lets him out. Jensen is PISSED and attacks McSweeney! McSweeney gets him in a guillotine and tells him to calm the hell down. He then lets him go and laughs it off. Jensen is pissed and says McSweeney is a douche bag. McSweeney says he has a contract to win, but will knock him out if he has too.

Fight day! The team Rashad coaches come to the house to do some "visualization" before the fight. Nelson says McSweeney has allies, while he is on his own. The ZEN coach gets McSweeney all chilled for the fight. Team Rashad covered up the pink in the locker room, damn.

James McSweeney {3-3} vs. Roy Nelson {13-4}

ROUND ONE: Steve Mazzagatti is the official. They come out McSweeney tries to keep his distance, push kick and then a good right. Nelson throwing the jab, not connecting though. Hard body kick by McSweeney, Nelson avoiding shots, a good right lands for Nelson. McSweeney has the distance, Nelson shoots and to the cage they go. McSweeney wants a guillotine, they work along the cage, Nelson out of the choke and they separate. Leg kick by McSweeney, jab by McSweeney follows. Clinch, McSweeney escapes and lands a hard left as Nelson came in. Nelson lands a good shot, shoots in and takes McSweeney down. Half guard by Nelson, McSweeney holds him off, but Nelson pins an arm for a moment, into side control and tries for crucifix position. McSweeney bucks, but Nelson stays on top and lands lefts to the head of McSweeney. Crucifix position, more shots land from Nelson and that is all as Mazzagatti stops the fight.

OFFICIAL DECISION: Roy Nelson via RD1 TKO

McSweeney is pissed that he lost, but promises to come back strong. Dana is finally impressed with Nelson.

Schaub says in a perfect world he goes out there and lets his hands go for the KO. Rashad says that Schaub could KO Jones, he has the power. Schaub is ready.

More drama between Rampage and Rashad, which involves Tiki. Rashad says Tiki is Rampage's manservant. Rashad then calls Rampage a BITCH to his face, and they have another stand off that pisses me off because we are not getting the fight. Rashad dares Rampage to throw it, to let it happen. Rashad says he is a bitch because he won't do anything and calls him soft. Rashad says Rampage makes a good bitch and will make him a better one when they fight don't fight.

Rampage talks about Jones winning so that he can rub it in with Rashad. We see Rampage and Jones working out, Jones wants to win, and that's all he thinks about. Rampage says Jones is set, but that he is the one that is nervous this time. Rampage says he is a bit selfish here, because if Jones wins, he wins.

Schaub plans to stick and move, because no one has really hit Jones yet. He doesn't see the fight lasting long. Both prepare for the fight in the locker rooms.

Marcus Jones {4-2} vs. Brendan Schaub {4-0}

ROUND ONE: The official is Josh Rosenthal. Here we go. They come out, big right by Schaub and Jones takes him down right away and is in half guard. Works the body shots, Schaub lands a few shots but Jones right to side control. Bog lefts by Jones, keeps Schaub down as he tries to improve position and does as he gets mount. Schaub bucks, gets it back to half guard and shoulder shrugs by Jones. Back to the feet, Schaub unloads and then a big knee by Jones! Schaub then DROPS Jones and is in half guard, unloads on him and Jones is finished!

OFFICIAL DECISION: Brendan Schaub via RD1 KO

Dana was impressed by Schaub. Rashad liked Jones, but is happy that he defeated Rampage overall. Jones says he may be done fighting, because he doesn't want to put his wife through this anymore. Rampage tells him he has greatness, and that he can gain strength from the loss. Rampage says if this wasn't on TV, he may have cried he was so upset for Jones.

Schaub says he thought he could get here and is excited. Nelson says he is glad he won, and fireworks will happen at the finale.

Dana was happy with the season overall, and says you never know what will happen.
