Sorry but B.J. Penn would outclass Gray Maynard.. i was hoping Maynard would finish Diaz but he won via split decision and i dont think he has a chance agaisnt Penn.

couldnt agree more. I can't really think of anyone that DOES stand a chance against Penn and I never really liked the guy but I'm becoming a fan. Anyone that smashes Diego Sanchez is OK to me!

Didnt see the fight but love Amir! Is he going to be champ? No. . . is he just cool to watch? HELL YEAH!

Poor Lawlor, he had a fantastic outing with a guy many thought would run through him.

And the LW division is the new MW division, the only matchups are with guys who don't deserve it or are re-matches.

I am not a BJ fan but I agree totally, like him or not he rules at 155.

I scored the fight the same way. Judging by a 3 round system I had Diaz winning rounds 1 & 3. Maynard does not stand a chance against Penn. Maynard did not want to take Nate down due to his slick ground game which Penn's ground game is legendary. Also Maynard's boxing is no where near Penn's and he would get dominated on the feet. I do not think that Frankie Edgar has enough power to put away Penn. Who is the next true challanger to the 155 crown?

If the UFC didn't have decisions and they gave draws, Gray Maynard would be one of the worst fighters in the company.

Just saying.

I dislike BJ and am a Maynard fan, but if Gray was afraid of Diaz' BJJ then what will he think of BJ's? The way to beat BJ is take downs and GnP, GSP gave the blue print. THe only two wrestlers good and strong enuogh to do it at lightweight are Sherk and Maynard. Sherk was afraid of BJ on the ground and got beat up standing. Same thing will happen to Maynard if he decides to stand. (and I am not saying he would win if it went to the ground, just that it is his only chance).

Someone please tell Amir not to take down an injured fighter. Finish him on his feet.

I hope Efrain is ok. That is why it is ok to tap before you really gte hurt....

I don't think the UFC has anyone that can top BJ at this time sad to say. The class is becoming stale. He should either move down a weight class to fight Jose Aldo, or Move back up and take another shot at GSP.

Florian is the only one skilled enough and smart enough to adjust his game plan to be competitve with BJ in my opinion. Would love to see him get another shot after another win or so.

I too had the main event as a draw. Only it was 0-0. Nobody did shit in that fight. It looked like they were just sparring.
