Rampage makes his Pride debut against Sakuraba.

Fight 1 - Pride 15: Raging Rumble
Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson vs Kazushi Sakuraba
Sakuraba immediately shoots and gets the takedown. Sakuraba passes to half guard but Rampage manages to get back on his feet. Rampage pushes Sakuraba against the ropes. He goes for his trademark slam but Sakuraba catches him in a triangle choke. Rampage gets the slam anyway but Saku ain't letting go of the triangle so Rampage slams him again and gets into side control. Another triangle attempt by Sakuraba, Rampage slams him a couple more times. Armbar by Sakuraba, Rampage lifts him and almost throws him out of the ring. Rampage brings Sakuraba back into the ring and slams him again. Back on the feet and Sakuraba throws a kick before getting the takedown. Side mount for Saku, Jackson actually lands some good knees from the bottom. Kimura attempt by Sakuraba but Jackson breaks free and manages to get back on his feet. More slams by Jackson as Sakuraba again looks for the kimura. Jackson botches a suplex and Sakuraba ends up on top and looks for a kneebar. Rampage tries to get up but Sakuraba gets his back, gets the choke and Rampage taps.


Fight 2 – Pride Bushido vol. 2
Takanori Gomi vs Jadson Costa
Gomi gets the takedown immediately and finds himself in the guard of Costa. Gomi pushes Costa up to corner and transitions to the side mount. Ref brings them back to the centre. Punches to the head by Gomi and ends up getting the mount. More punches to the head of Costa. Costa grabs a hold of Gomi so the ‘Fireball Kid' bashes his head off the mat until he lets go so Gomi is free to land some more punches. Gomi loses the mount for a moment but quickly transitions back. Gomi continues to land punches to the head before the ref finally stops the fight.


Fight 3 – Pride Bushido vol.3
Kazuhiro Nakamura vs Chalid Arrab
Nakamura comes charging with strikes. Arrab avoids and starts throwing some strikes of his own. Nakamura clinches up with the German and trips him through the ropes. Ref stands them back up. Nakamura misses an overhand right, he then goes for the shoot but it's stuffed. Knees to the head by Arrab as Nakamura gets back on his feet. Nakamura has the body lock, he goes for the takedown but Arrab ends up on top. Arrab briefly gets the mount but Nakamura manages to roll out of it and ends up in Arrab's guard in the corner. Ref brings them to the centre. Nakamura gets side control before transitioning into full mount. Arrab tries to buck Nakamura off but gets caught in an armbar. Nakamura extends the arm but the German breaks free and begins to throw punches from the guard. Arrab stands, kicking the legs of the downed Nakamura. He almost gets caught in a heelhook as he went for a footstomp. Back on their feet, they clinch again but Nakamura gets the takedown. Nakamura quickly gets the mount, he goes for the armbar again and this time Arrab taps.


Fight 4 – Pride: Total Elimination Absolute
Yosuke Nishijima vs Hidehiko Yoshida
Headkick attempt by Yoshida to start us off. Both throw jabs now. Yoshida charges in and gets the off but ends takedown. Mount now for Yoshida as he lands punches to the head. Nishijima tries to buck Yoshida but ends up getting caught and submitted by a triangle choke.


Fight 5 – Pride Bushido Vol. 12
Gegard Mousasi vs Akihiro Gono
They touch gloves. Mousasi moves forward and misses a Headkick. Mousasi misses another headkick. Gono keeps backing up into the corners. Mousasi swings widely at Gono as they clinch up against the ropes. Mousasi gets the waistlock and eventually gets the takedown. Gono reverses into side control but is brought back to half guard. Back to side control for Gono. Mousasi looks for the kimura but Gono won't give the arm up. Mount for Gono, Mousasi looks to buck him off but Gono gets his back. Mousasi manages to get back to his feet and goes for the single leg, Gono avoids and he manages to get the takedown. Their too close to the ropes so the ref brings them back to the centre. Gono steps out the guard and eats and upkick as he steps back in. Triangle attempt by Mousasi but Gono avoids and gets side mount. North South position for Gono but he spins back into side control. Mount again for Gono. Mousasi rolls and almost gets caught in an armbar but he manages to get out of it. Side mount for Mousasi. Gono rolls into a triangle attempt but escapes and back into the guard. Gono steps out and goes for the jumping Sakuraba stomp and ends up landing in side control. Gono gets mount as the bell rings.

They touch gloves again at the start of round 2. Uppercuts by Mousasi, they clinch up. Little happens so the ref breaks them up. Mousasi throws a combination of punches and kicks, he starts to swing widely again as Gono retreats. Pause in the action to fix Gono's glove. Leg kicks by Gono, Mousasi comes in with an uppercut. They clinch up, do nothing so the ref breaks them up. Mousasi presses forward, catching Gono in the muay thai clinch. Mousasi lands some knees to the head before they clinch again. Gono gets the takedown, ref brings them back into the centre. Gono passes to side mount. Mousasi gives up his back. Gono goes for the armbar and Mousasi taps!
