MAIN CARD MATCHES:
World Lightweight Championship Bout: Rob Sinclair (c) Vs Diego Vital
OFFICIAL RESULT: Rob Sinclair- by TKO, Round Three
Laughing at the ring announcer getting three false starts on the LAAAAAADIES and GENTLEMEN!!
Still laughing when they announce Paul Daley as a HUGE fan favorite- to deafening boos.
Lightweight Bout: Andre Winner Vs Jason Ball
Ball is coming out first. Of of the announcers calls Andre Winner "Andre Weiner". Hmmm. Good start.
Andre Winner comes running out like the Ultimate Warrior. Quadros keeps calling him Weiner. We go to an ad break already. I'm going to have a beer, join me.
ROUND ONE: Touch gloves clean. I'm giving the edge to Winner on experience. Ball takes center cage but Winner is leading with kicks. Winner gets the fight to the fence and tries to dead-leg Ball with hammer-fists. Andre is looking to his corner a lot, as he is being pinned up now by a pretty good wrestler in Ball (for a Brit). Andre misses a Cro-Cop headkick, luckily for Ball as it was thrown with intent. Winner is looking pretty relaxed now, getting in and out with ease. Fairly close round, probably give the edge to Andre.
SCORECARD: Winner 10-9
ROUND TWO: Bit more action from both guys but nothing substantial until they end up in a clinch. Heavy leg kicks now thrown by Andre who seems to be looking for knees and a great sweep from inside the thai clinch puts Ball down briefly but doens't capitalize. Winner is starting to look really good, channeling Anderson Silva with his head movement and picking his shots. "Andrew Weiner" is really opening up, this round hasn't been as close as the first and Winner seals it with a massive takedown, straight into Balls guard. Andre looks a little bit tentative and pays as Balls sweeps and looks for a guillotine. Winner takes this one too.
SCORECARD: Winner 10-9
Not ashamed of getting Andre's name wrong, they just called Frank Trigg "Frank Twigg". Wheres Mr. Garrison when you need him?
ROUND THREE: Winner is throwing HARD now, but quickly fades and we re-establish our rhythm again. This fight could probably go for an hour at this rate. Winner looks to control the fight on the cage and does well until he gets punched in the face. Ball needs to finish, but isn't looking like he will be able to, short of a can of spinach. The ref stops the cuddling and Ball takes Winner down but while I typed that, Winner ended up on top somehow. Ball has a big cut open up over his right eye, the crowd have turned on these guys and the end arrives in the middle of an eventual flurry from Andre.
SCORECARD: Andre Winner 10-9
OFFICIAL RESULT: Andre Winner- by Unanimous Decision (30-27)
Good result for a nice guy, but wasn't a UFC worthy performance.
British Middleweight Championship Bout: Jack Marshman Vs Carl Noon
Just realized that I scored the last fight round by round rather than overall like Radulich does. Tweet me if you want me to switch it up.
This is the first ever British Lonsdale Middleweight title fight- History in the making! Carl Noon looks scary tough, but Marshman is a former Para so despite being younger is going to be no walkover. Tough call.
Carl Noon has Rey Mysterios necklace tattoo. Nice. On that, I'm giving this fight to Marshman.
ROUND ONE: Noon powers forward and keeps going until he winds up in side control. Noon is really close to getting him in a Salaverry crucifix but Marshman is hooking the leg well but he's being battered on the ground. Full guard now, big elbow cuts Jack under his left eye i think. This is a ground and pound clinic by Noon, as he avoids the armbar. Holy crap, Marshmans eye is swollen shut but goes for ANOTHER armbar. Jeez, this is a good fight. Noon is still towering above and smashing the young Welshmans face into his glove. Noon is aiming his elbows at the good eye of Marshman, his right arm must have been tired. Total dominance.
SCORECARD: Carl Noon 10-8
ROUND TWO: Marshmans face looks like Fedors did after the bigfoot fight. Nasty. Noon is looking to stand a bit longer now, Jack has got game though and ROCKS Noon now! Misses a HUGE left hand, probably due to the eye and gets taken straight back down. Noon sits up in full guard and begins the barrage again. They get stood up by the ref, bit quick for me but ok. Marshman keeps getting tagged on the swollen side of his face but rocks Noon and hes trying to take his back now! Big knees, both men throwing everything and now Noon looks shattered! Marshman has got his sprawl on as Noon seems punched out. Noon COLLAPSES with a minute to go- holy shit what a fight. Marshman is too tired to stop this immediately, but grinds punches into the face of Noon for the rest of the round.
SCORECARD: Jack Marshman 10-8
Literally that big of a turnaround.
ROUND THREE: Marshman clinches up and aims for knees, Noon can't even stand up on his own. He's actually putting his hands on his knees and I'm fairly sure he just lay down on his face, maybe it was a takedown attempt, not sure. I think Carl Noon is asleep under there. Ground and Pound coming from Marshman now and mercifully, it comes to an end.
OFFICIAL RESULT: Jack Marshman- by TKO, Round Three
That would have been much better if Noon didn't almost die at the end of it. Props to Marshman for keeping going with only one eye.
Catchweight Bout: Paul Daley Vs Jordan Radev
Is it just me, or does Paul Daley look fat tonight......oh, wait.
Seriously though, SIX pounds is ridiculous. I can't defend this guy anymore.
ROUND ONE: Quadros just said Daley looked good against Woodley. Is this guy jet-lagged tonight? Radev eventually shoots in and Daley has a pretty good plum and starts throwing knees with reckless abandon. Radev falls over and grabs on to a leg like a dog. The Hamburglar scores a takedown (seriously) but can't keep him down and finds himself pinned against the cage. Daley smells some blood after a big knee and is throwing well against the fence. Knees, elbows, punches all landing and Radev is still up, but now cut. Radev isn't taking this though and swings back himself, landing a few big shots too but soon eats a flying knee. Radev goes down right at the bell, but more of a slip. Good round.
SCORECARD: Daley 10-9
ROUND TWO: Slow start again. Daley is working his jab quite happily. Radev comes in again and is actually now leading the offence. Daley holds him in the clinch and Radev eats a tasty looking uppercut. Daley is landing the big shots in this fight, but every time Radev lands, Daley looks shaken. Paul now throwing elbows, more knees but this Bulgarian is like the Terminator and doesn't seem phased. This has got to be disheartening for Daley. Radev opens with a flurry but a big shot from Semtex reminds him that he is losing. Can't decide is Radev fell a little near the end of the round, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
SCORECARD: Daley 10-9
ROUND THREE: Daley aiming for the legs now, try and slow this dude down. I've not seen someone eat this punishment from Daley, ever. Paul is slowly picking him apart but Radev is going like a rock-em-sock-em robot and isn't afraid to get within punching range. Brave guy. Daley throws an uppercut that would have taken the Bulgarians head clean off his shoulder but pays by eventually being swept. Radev is trying to pound Daley out from the top and is landing LOTS of fairly soft but unanswered hammerfists. They continue to the end.
SCORECARD: Radev 10-9 (Very hard to call. I'll give it to Radev due to his takedown and ground work)
OFFICIAL RESULT: WINNER - Paul Daley by Decision
Middleweight Bout: Frank Trigg Vs Jim Wallhead
With any luck, Trigg will finish this as SyFy are notorious for cutting off live feeds.
The ring announcer is pretty bad. The Buff he aint. "From Leh-chester, England". Really?
ROUND ONE:Jim Wallhead looks like he wants to eat Frank Triggs family. Angry man. Really slow start though, except from Trigg kicking straight onto Wallheads knee. Ouch. There is a gulf in confidence in these guys, Trigg looks so relaxed as this is going on. Wallhead has barely thrown so far. Good takedown defence by the Brit as he reverses Trigg onto the fence, but that amounts to nothing. Trigg gets ROCKED though, almost stopped with ground and pound but Frank holds on to him for dear life. Big elbows to the body of Trigg shock the crowd a little and WOW is Frank Trigg lucky that horn blew.
SCORECARD: Jim Wallhead 10-9
ROUND TWO: Trigg seems to have been cut in the exchange at the end of round one. It looks pretty nasty. Wallhead seems to have found his groove and is now the one looking more comfortable. If SyFy cut the feed on this fight, I riot. The combos of Wallhead seem to have bamboozled Frank Trigg who seems to start throwing with abandon. I hope something big happens to separate them in this round.Wallhead snaps Triggs head back twice with a jab but not enough for me to comfortably give him the round. Wallhead now has blood in his hair, but it may be Triggs. Frank Trigg has probably worked a bit harder in this one, but I could easily give this to Wallhead.
SCORECARD: Frank Trigg 10-9
Actually CANNOT believe we are getting adverts and the show is already over schedule. Oh great, the round started. Thanks SyFy.
ROUND THREE: Don't know whats happened already but we join the two men going punch for punch. Trigg rethinks this strategy and grabs hold of Wallhead. They break and Wallhead is landing much better. I missed the reach earlier, but he must have a good 3/4 inches on Frank. Jim is looking long and hard for the takedown and surprisingly, ends up getting it! Amounts to nothing, think he realized what he was doing and they return to standing. Wallhead avoids a takedown attempt and both men now look pretty tired. This round is as close as the second but the takedown probably seals the deal for the Brit here.
SCORECARD: Jim Wallhead 10-9
OFFICIAL RESULT: Jim Wallhead by Split Decision
In all fairness, Tom Watson would have ripped Trigg apart tonight.
Thank you Larry for the opportunity, and make sure and STAY on 411 for Mark Radulich and his awesome Strikeforce coverage! Larry will also be in with LIVE Bellator coverage!

I hate Daley and Trigg more than anyone in MMA.
Too bad Daley won. I hope this is the end of Trigg.
Go back to TNA!

Was a good show, shame the American announcer and The Professor of all people, kept getting everyones names wrong haha. Andrew Whiner... and he said it like 10 times, even after being corrected over and over lol. If Noon can sort his conditioning, he'll be a fuckin killer... Marshman took over when he got too tired to move, before that he looked outclassed.

I attended this live. Prelim fights were much more exciting than the televised show. Oh well, not long until UFC plays the same area!
