FADE IN: We pick up where the last episode left off. Pague gives glory to God after defeating Guadinot. Meanwhile, Diego decides to start threatening and screaming at Siler. Bisping says he's emotionally unstable.
Back at the house, Mayhem pays his team a visit. Neace is given a fancy new cowboy hat with a "B" on it. Mayhem learns the identity of the mole and opts to work around it. He instructs his team to act like Diego and Siler are fighting next when it is really Neace and Akira. Dodson of course falls for it.
In the gym with Team Bisping, they believe they have the inside track for the next fight pick. Bisping begins to get Diego ready for his "fight." Tee Hee.

Back at the house, Akira and Ferguson do away with Neace's hat. Neace figures it's Akira messing with him so he goes on the warpath. Neace proceeds to destroy Akira's property. He then dumps Akira's gear all over the Bisping locker room. Bisping blames it on Mayhem himself. However, quickly everyone realizes that it was Neace as he and Akira go chest to chest. After some mouthing off Bisping finally draws Akira away from Neace.

FIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT: Dustin Neace (22-16-1) vs Hamid Akira Corassani (9-3)
While awaiting the fight announcement, Akira and Neace are still going at it. Ferguson admits he acts without thinking. Mayhem finally gets Neace to calm down. Mayhem makes the announcement and both men don't even both to wait for the actual fight. Neace shoots on Akira and both coaches attempt to break it up. However, in the ensuing melee Bisping and Mayhem nearly come to blows.
Dodson admits that all of this is his fault…and he couldn't care less.
Mayhem also announces that after Akira and Neace will be Diego vs Siler. He tries to address Dodson's choice to betray his team but it doesn't penetrate.

In the gym with Team Bisping, the focus is on Akira. Bisping says that Akira could have a long career in this sport if he'd just focus and not get distracted. The coaches opt to train Akira on how to get up when taken down.
Moving over to Team Mayhem, Neace tells us that he's finally able to just worry about training instead of taking fights on short notice and splitting his time. He's also one of the best grapplers in the house. Mayhem wants Neace to use the energy he expended at the fight announcement in the cage.
Bisping no-shows the weigh-in again. Mayhem expects Akira to gas out early from pushing too hard too fast too early in the fight. Bisping finally shows up and declares that they have to win this fight. Akira has the will to win.
Ferguson and TJ play a prank on Mayhem.
Akira says nothing is personal, it's just business (pardon?). Neace says that the mini-explosion actually helped him and now he's ready for this fight…and Mayhem parks in the handicapped spot (damn you Ferguson!).

Dustin Neace (22-16-1) VS Hamid Akira Corassani (9-3)
Round 1: Akira fires a leg kick off first. Akira misses with a spinning kick and some punches. Neace lands a kick, Akira smacks him. Neace attempts a spinning back fist. Neace hits a one-two punch. Neace hits the canvas. Akira stands over him for some ground and pound. Neace pulls him into his guard. Akira smashes and elbow into his face. Akira stops working in guard. Neace seems flustered. Akira smashes Neace again. Neace grabs a heel hook. There's some controversy over whether Akira tapped. Akira ends up escaping. Akira misses with punches and Neace takes him down. Akira escapes, fires off two shots and the round ends.
SCORECARD: Neace 10-9

Round 2: Akira starts off with another kick. Akira is swinging and missing. Akira clinches and presses Neace against the fence. Neace is taking a lot of knees to the belly. They disengage. Neace plants one on the chin. Neace tries another spinning back fist. Akira sends a hard shot right down the tunnel and drops Neace. Akira moves in for the kill. Neace attempts to tie him up in his guard. Neace has Akira in a high guard. Akira gets to side control as Neace tries to get up. Neace moves him back to full guard. Neace tries for a hail Mary arm bar. And that's the end of that round.
SCORECARD: Akira 10-9
For showboating and nearly causing another brawl Akira is nearly booted off of the show.
Winner: Akira by Majority decision
And Mayhem's car is towed for being parked in the handicapped spot. He handles it in stride.
NEXT WEEK ON TUF: Team Mayhem objects to Akira's win due to him tapping in the first round. TJ wants an easy fight. Diego vs Siler and another Bantamweight fight!
Until the next episode, be well be safe and behave!
For your convenience, here are the teams as they stand now (color coded for easy reading):

It was like the Chael Sonnen tap. He tapped, but then moved to get out when he realized he could...
Mayhem's team should be undefeated...

Practice tap or not, it was still a tap. I think Neace kind of got screwed there. Great recapping Radulich.

Bisping, is that you?
Must be. Same guy who said (after Akira started the shit after the fight) "don't lower yourself to their level". Stay classy douchebag.
Akira tapped, you can clearly see him tap on the replay. However Neace runs his mouth a little more than he should; he got taken down and lay n prayed by a guy with no wrestling skills or takedown defense?

you either are
1 - Akira himself
2 - Bisping
3 - new to the show...
idiot comment.. anyway.
ya so retarded. Akira tapped and everyone know sit. even dana white said he tapped but if Herb didnt call it.. its "not a tap"..
Keizer should of booted him off the show and took his license away for showboating after the fight like that

Akira is the douchebag. And he tapped. But Neace kind of sucks as a fighter. Did he really call himself the best grappler in the house?
Neace shot on Akira at the weigh in after Akira basically head butted him.
If one of the goals of the show is to build up a fight between the coaches then this year is a big success. I can't wait to see Mayhem beat up Bisping now and I wouldn't have cared about the fight 5 weeks ago.

Akira tapped, no other way around it. Sadly Neace couldn't get his head back into the fight between rounds. He had himself convinced he had already won and it cost him. Damn shame as I really wanted to see Mayhem go undefeated. Once again I find myself really disliking Bisping.

Neace shot after Akira went forehead to forehead. Neace strikes me as a guy who is very easy to throw off his game plan. Everybody else took Akira's pranks in their stride, Neace got angry and this time it wasn't even Akira (despite the review saying it was him and Fergunson) it was John Albert and Ferguson.
Despite all that... Akira did tap, no matter how his team spin it.

Akira definitely tapped. I know the ref needs to stop it, however at the same time, fighters get blamed if they hold on to a submission too long. So the issue is a slippery slope.
Hopefully once the show goes to FX they can do things like instant replay to catch things like this.
